A key component of the overall development vision for Katara Hospitality is to deliver a world class leisure destination on Qetaifan Island North, which lies off the east coast of Lusail City. This vision has progressed during the development of a Concept Masterplan for the Island.
The development consists of 80MVA, 66/11kV Primary sub-station with all downstream 11kV network for feeding 77MVA electrical load to the various assets/facilities of development through multiple no. of Public and Private 11kV/415V Distribution sub-stations.)
Key Packages: Qetaifan Island North Development includes Electrical and ELV Infrastructures for Island, Meryal Water Park, 4 Star Hotel, Juma Mosque, Beach Club, Linear Parks along the Canal, Plazas/Souq for Retail and Festival, etc.
 Leading Site Operations and Construction Supervision/management of Electrical and ELV System Works for the Qetaifan Island North (Phase-1&2) Development.
 Leading and mentoring a team of 12 in-house Electrical/ELV Engineers and Inspectors.

 Review along with electrical team of contractors’ various Submittals, like, Technical Reports/Documents, Materials, Technical Queries, Construction Drawings and Documents, Samples, Corrective actions for non-conformance works, etc. to ensure these are in line with contract and relevant authority requirement.
 Review, coordinate and forward submittals, drawings, Technical Queries, Samples, etc. to the relevant project team and/or discipline engineers.
 Monitor the electrical construction progress as per approved contractors’ work program and raise alarm to various SRE/RE, if slips and assist review of contractors’ interim payment application technically.
 Supporting Liaison Manager for various Electrical and ELV Systems Authorities approvals.
 Attend regular weekly and/or Bi-weekly Meetings, like, Client, Technical, Progress, Site Coordination, project close-out, etc.
