• Ensuring the well being, safety of the patients in my premises before & after the procedures. • Performing all Interventional examinations as approved and protocolled ensuring all records are maintained. • Clinically, legally and ethically responsible for all patient imaging procedures. • Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to the Data Protection Act at all times. • Assisting with the training of other clinical staff • Check all the requirements in my area. • Prepare the examination room and check equipment working status. • Document all the patient’s details on the records. • Practice universal precautions and follow CDC (centre for disease control) guidelines to ensure implementation of infection control. • Perform post processing of acquire images, documentation on films/CD’s/DVD’s. • Archival and retrieval of images from PACS network. • Maintaining records of all contrast media, drugs, disposables & stationeries. • Scheduling appointments for patients. • To summarize, ensure, the best care of patients, patient safety and personnel safety.
