GENERAL FUNCTION:
Under the Hotel Chief Engineer or other appropriate administrative staff, is responsible for supervising the work of employees in the general maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
Responsible for maintaining refrigeration or air conditioning system, Fire-Tube Boiler operating, Air handling unit electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and related systems. Performs the work of employees and other duties as required.
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises and assigns the work of maintenance employees.
Inspects work for completeness.
Keeps time cards and other routine records.
Inspects repairs and maintains the electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other related systems in all department locations.
Operates and maintains the heating, cooling and ventilation systems (including boiler system) in all health department locations.
Perform general repair and maintenance duties in regard to l Kitchen and Laundry plumbing and electrical systems. Basic maintenance and repair of laundry equipment.
Renovations of existing facilities and the construction of new facilities.
•Essentially UAE experience
•Repair, test install electrical /electronic equipment.
•Prepare survey report, Plan
•Supervise & provide technical training to subordinate technical staff for precise work.
•Provide technological information and training to sales staff for smooth run.
•Make daily basis sheets & keep's the work record update.
•Diagnose & troubleshoot the product faults at customer end as well as in workshop
•Laundry Mechanic is to repair, inspect, test, install and maintain the laundering equipment.
Samsung, General Electrical, Gibson, Glem Gas & Abu Hosan Product.
•In LG Electronic as Technician in Refrigerator, Window A/c, Split A/c.
•Perform Repairing, Testing & installing of various AC system equip.
•Service & Maintaining.
Participate in development and follow a personal competency development plan; Verify compliance and functionality of refrigeration and air conditioning installations; Determine thermodynamic parameters of refrigeration and air conditioning systems; Manage refrigeration and air conditioning projects; Develop specifications for heat exchanger designs; Evaluate fluid and thermodynamic parameters of refrigeration systems; Analyse noise, vibration and thermodynamic parameters of refrigeration and air conditioning systems; plus more. Plus electives.
