6. Conduct passenger training and briefings
7. Provide health advice (e.g. diet, general health, hygiene, food quality, drugs, chemicals, etc)
8. Provide training for first-aiders / stretcher bearers
9. Control dispensing and maintain stock of medication on board
10. Control disposal of biological hazardous waste (syringes, gauze swabs)
11. Upkeep of valid POB lists on Accommodation Board and Computer.
12. Liaising with Master / Chef Manager on Hotel Accommodation.
13. Upkeep of Vessel Articles and Seamen's' Log Books.
14. Filing of POB details.
15. Helicopter administration and communications.
16. Any additional administration duties as delegated by the Master.
17. Allocation of cabins to all oncoming personnel.
18. To hand all new arriving personnel the following publications:-
• Vessel Safety Handbook.
• Drug and Alcohol Policy.
• Policy on Health, Safety and the Environment.
19. Will keep up to date the Next of Kin database, which will be updated every time there is a change of personnel onboard, or a change in personnel's circumstances and inform the appropriate departments as directed.
20. Verify that all medical certificates are in date when personnel join the vessel and confirm said certificates will remain valid during anticipated stay onboard by the holder.
21. Assist in paperwork if required which may be incurred by Clients/Charters information or data requirements.
22. Assist the Master with Customs/Immigration documentation and procedure.
23. Operation of normal telephone communications.
24. Preparation of monthly radio accounts
