I) Oman banking experience- May 2008 to till 23/12/2015.
(Position held DGM and Head Corporate Banking & General Manager - Retail banking).

Set up the whole sale banking for Bank Sohar in 2008, the business units of Government, Large corporate, Trade finance, Treasury, Financial Institutional group, Emerging Corporate units were reporting to me. Over all asset levels at RO 1 billion and Non-funded RO 250 million sourced till 2013 with multi products sales to clients like assets, liability, Trade and Treasury products. The portfolio has a very high asset quality as we targeted top clients in this market with proper due diligence,

In the year 2013, Board chosen me to head the Retail banking to revamp the biz model. Introduced the Zonal structure, later developed and implemented district heads model. Consistent market share achieved in liability and consumer lending. New products and innovation in credit card products introduced. Retail banking and Credit card product received global awards. For the year 2014 and 2015, bank received awards under Retail banking for customer service and experiences. Overall 26 conventional branches staff and privilege banking across Oman were tuned to focus on business.

As Retail banking Head, Sr. AGM branches, Head of Consumer lending, Head of Liability, Head Credit card and operations, Privilege banking head, Head of Product and Market intelligence and Retail Sales Head were reporting to me. Overall staff strength was 300 under Retail banking team.

II) IDBI bank- India ( 7th largest public sector bank)- Mar 1996 to Apr 2008.
July 2006 - April 2008.
SVP & Head Corporate Banking - Pan India.

Overall business size above INR 240 billions with P/L responsibility of above INR 4 billions /annum.
Four Regional Heads & Corporate Banking Product Heads at the corporate level report to the undersigned. Each of these senior level officials has their respective teams located in the respective regions & at branch locations across India.

IDBI, the development banking SBU (erstwhile IDBI) is predominately in Project appraisal and Syndication biz.. Apart from project appraisal the syndication for the full requirement also undertaken.

As a member of the credit committee in the last year 65 projects were evaluated and credit decision taken by me with the members. The major proposals cleared are Idea Cellular, BSES Rajdhani & Yamuna, JSW Energy, Damra port (L&T and Tata joint venture), IOCL, SAIL, KMP express highway, North Delhi power etc.

July 2004 - June 2006:
Vice President and Regional Head Corporate Banking- Western India.

Developed business in three key states namely Maharastra, Gujarat, & Goa. The overall business contribution to the bank was about 55% from these key locations. (Mumbai, Pune, Aurangabad, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Surat & Goa).
The overall biz volume was INR 120 Billions and income generated measured as Net interest income and fee income of total amount INR 2 Billions.

Dec. 1999 - July 2004
Vice President and Regional Head Corporate Banking- Southern India:
In charge of overall business development from four major south states, namely Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka & Andhra Pradesh.

Key branches from the four prominent states including the senior branch locations in Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kochi & Coimbatore. The overall corporate business was INR 40 billions and revenue generated of INR 1 billion

Mar.1996 -Dec. 1999.
Selected as Vice President and Branch Head of IDBI bank.

Served as Vice President and Branch Head at Hyderabad and was in charge of the over all biz development of the Andhra Pradesh State. Achieved an overall Biz size of Rs 10 Billion in the first 3 year of operations. Setup the prestigious Global Trade Services Division at Hyderabad.
