As a key member of the financial solutions team in the Insurance business, I manage the development strategies for key products. The products have a dominant market share. They have more than 40% market share in the US markets. The initiatives include full software life cycle development and support, quality practices, managing and delivering to product road map, enhancing product quality and running lean initiatives.
The various initiatives launched in the last few years has enabled SunGard to reduce their overall product spend by around 30% and improved their bottom line of specific business significantly besides improving business agility and reduced time to market of solutions for customers and SunGard.
I have identified and evangelized setting up of new product and service lines using global delivery teams. The business and delivery strategies include setting up of cloud based computing for investment management for insurance, tool based automation reducing significantly the time to deliver critical business processes for customers with 100% reliability
I am responsible for the Global delivery of following products in Financial Solutions. Peak team size managed is 81.
