Design of RCC Intake well, Jackwell and pumping mains & responsibility includes from starting of the project feasibility study, Render assistance in preparation of standard specification.
In-charge for construction supervision and quality control, revised designs, work flow sequences, coordination between contractor and client for work progress for following schemes:
Water treatment plants of 80mld and 23.5mld consists of Cascade aerator, raw water channel, Parshall flume, flash mixer, distribution chamber, flocculator, tube settlers, rapid sand filter & filter house, chlorination room, clear water pump house & pumps, chemical house, raw water pumping main.
Head works (80mld capacity) consist of 7m dia, 7m deep RCC Intake well and coffer dam, 1200 mm dia CI pipe line connecting intake well and jack well, 12m dia, 18 m deep jack well with pumping station of 80mld capacity.
2)World Bank Assisted - Jal Nirmal Project of Karnataka Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency for 38 Villages for Gadag Package - II
Involved in Planning, Preparation of Preliminary Scheme Report.
Prepared Detailed Design Report for 38 villages water supply schemes.
Design of Distribution System, Feeder main - 105 km for 38 villages by using Loop, Branch and Water Cad Soft wares.
Design of Transmission Main - 80 km
Design of Jack wells, Slow sand filters and Thrust blocks.
Prepared Workflow sequences, Standard specifications and Quality Control Guidelines, Design for various infrastructure works.
Played key role in getting Detailed Design Reports approvals from Karnataka Rural Water Supply Support Agency Bangalore.
World Bank Assisted - Karnataka Integrated Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Project, Phase - II
Senior Engineer - Water Supply
Conducted surveys for rising main and Gravity Main of 35 km. Conducted yield tests for bore wells.
Preparing construction drawings, Mile stone charts, bar bending schedules and quality control guidelines. Progress reports.
Construction materials testing, both at laboratory and field. Design & Rechecking of Distribution System and Gravity Main by using Loop & Branch Software’s for 64 villages. Design of Pumping Main for economical diameter and fix up pump capacity.

Construction supervision and quality control for construction of Over-head tanks, GLSRs, Sumps, disinfections Rooms, centrifugal pump houses, water supply components like: public stand posts, cattle troughs, dust-bins, washing platforms and all types of valve chambers and submersible pump-houses. Conducted hydraulic tests for PVC pipes (4ksc, 6ksc, 10ksc) and OHT’s, GLSR’s and Sumps.
Conducted Operation and Maintenance program in all 64 villages with Village water supply Committee members.
Commissioned and handed-over the schemes to village water supply committee.
Prepared R.A.bills, rate analysis, financial implications, revised estimates, revised BOQ’s, as-built-up drawings and final bills.
Prepared Final Bills for all 64 Villages, KIRWS & ESP Phase-II, Bellary.
Played key role in getting approvals from Superintending Engineer, Bellary, Engineer In Chief, Bangalore, for the above said documents.
World Bank President and Team, Danida Mid Term review mission visited sites and appreciated which were under my construction supervision and quality control to water supply schemes.
