- Outward clearing checks
- Credit Office department
My core responsibilities included:
- Working at the central operation unit in the inward clearing checks. This unit is centralized in all the branches and was managed by a newly introduced computer based clearing system called “kindle”
- Following up on the legal side of the checks, on things like signatures, endorsements, date of checks, the drawer, and the beneficiary)
- Checking the balance of the clearing account, and printing the sheets of the exceeded balances of the clients in all the centralized branches
- Writing the weekly and monthly reports and statistics to the control department, with respect to the number of the coming inward checks in all the branches, returned checks, and the exceeded balances. In doing so I would notify appropriate levels of management to take applicable course of action
- Taking the approvals from the credit department.
- Management and organization of the computer sheets into files sub sectioned into logical ordering.
