Distribution Manager - Food Service and Retail Operations
Key Deliverables:
Staffing, Training, Budgeting and Responsible for 223 Distribution Staffs on their daily productivity, product transportation and other related day-to-day tasks along with their performance evaluation and year end Appraisals.
Responsible for getting the right products in the right quantities, to the right locations all at the right time.
In charge of the day-to-day operations of the transport department and garage operations.
Efficiently managing a team of Supervisors, coordinators drivers, helpers and vehicles.
Responsible for all of the dispatching, routing, and tracking of delivery vehicles.
Ensuring company compliance of all transport policies, legislation and procedures.
Managing, monitoring and developing a team of drivers and line supervisors/coordinators.
Involved in strategic development and strategy making.
Making sure that all transport fleet vehicles are properly maintained and serviced.
Arranging for the induction and training off all new staff.
Regularly liaising with the delivery supervisors and garage associate manager to ensure a smooth running of both departments.
Developing and nurturing customer relationships through customer satisfaction surveys.
Identifying operational issues, potential problems and opportunities.
Resolving and managing queries and complaints courteously and efficiently.
Doing Routes analysis for correct benchmarking and high productivity of resources.
Auditing of other internal divisions (warehouse, transportation) of company and presenting the comprehensive to Top management reports.
Key Deliverables:
Staffing, Training, Budgeting and ensuring Warehouse (5000) sq. m - approx 2500+ Rack locations and approx 6000+ shelving locations) Quality aspects are complied against GDP, GSP and WHO guidelines for Audit purpose
Responsible for 73 Warehouse Staff (Nepali, Philippine, Egyptians and Indians) on their daily productivity, product handling, replenishing, and other related day to day tasks along with their performance evaluation and year end Appraisals.
To proactively communicate and comply with 3PL requirements mentioned in the SLA on daily basis.
Handling Emergency Deliveries to MOH and Blood Bank through effective communication and ensuring delivery is done on time thus uplifting the goodwill of 3PL in the market along with image and credibility to the Service Provider.
To generate additional Revenue to the company by providing value added services for 3PL which are additional requirements against the SLA
Responsible for all required stock movements (approx 10, 000 Sku's) - inbound and outbound process via WMS reports.
To provide monthly Sales Order Reports, Inbound reports, stock reports categorized dept wise to 3PL and our Finance Dept.
Coordinating with Estimation Department, Fleet and concern Departments to achieve customer requirements
Meeting parameters such as cost of services, overheads, budgeted profit and quality procedures, KPI.
Managing the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a wide range of pharmaceutical and scientific goods from the warehouse.
Maximizing space usage within the warehouse.
Looking after the transportation of goods into and out of the warehouse.
Implementing specific customer packaging requirements.
Working with supervisors to improve staff performance.
Setting aside storage areas for new stock.
Complying with all Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
Keep unauthorized persons out of the warehouse.
Developing and implementing SOPs for the warehouse.
Facilitating effective communication within the team and across the site.
Investigating any inventory losses.
Planning future warehouse capacity requirements.
Ensuring products are stocked correctly and safely.
Key Deliverables:
In charge of the daily running of the warehouse that includes goods receiving, storage
arrangements, stock control and stock taking.
Receiving goods from Local suppliers and international transshipment of medical
(Pharmaceutical and scientific items)
Maintaining the enough room for the incoming shipments.
Supervising the inbound staffs and there day to day receiving transactions.
Maintaining the quality and second release documents.
Updating day by day shipment details and communicates to concern departments/suppliers.
Maintaining the medical MOH samples records.
To ensure cold chain is maintained while receipt of life saving medications.
Key deliverables:
Goal Oriented and Successfully handled order coordinating task.
Implemented policies to monitor and control the activities of delivery co ordination.
Receiving orders from client COMPASS CATERING COMPANY and splitting / allocate the orders by
warehouse, by CPU’s and item classification.
Co ordinate with fleet department in regard of orders and follow up till delivery.
Communicate with Warehouse in charges for stock availability reports and arrangements for
local purchase with concern departments accordingly.
Communicate with Venues for stock availability and confirm for substitute for products if out of
stock.
Fully responsible for all Orders coordination Operations for ASIAN GAMES 2006 PROJECT.
To ensure the receipt of proper Frozen food shipment against supplier invoices, packing list.
To ensure cold chain is maintained while receipt of frozen shipments.
To ensure the complete product contains are captured in system
To ensure follow SOP to monitor and control the activities
To ensure the checking and dispatch is up to standard
