Main Responsibilities at KFUPM:

1. Maintaining Phys 101 Computers aided Labs (96 computers).
2. Maintaining Phys 102 Computers aided Labs (96 computers).
3. Maintaining computers in Optic Lab and General Physics labs (32 computers).
4. Preparing the labs for lectures, and computer, projectors for demonstrations, Seminars, and workshops
5. Maintaining computers in Laser, Nuclear, Thin film, Super conductivity research labs (50+)
6. Providing IT technical support to all faculty, Researcher, visitors, students, and staff.
7. Managing Physics department aliases and file server.
8. Updating the department website, Phys 101 and Phys 102, Research groups websites using MS-SharePoint Software when required:

10. Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders when necessary.
11. Maintaining hardware and software inventory.
12. Consulting with IT managers and other departments as required.
13. Participating in invigilating student Physics 101 and Physics 102 exams,
14. Troubleshoot to identify and resolve problems promptly.
15. Coordination with ICTC (Information and Communication Technology Center, KFUPM, Saudi Arabia).
16. Creating & Managing Classes and exam rooms on Microsoft Teams.
17. Maintaining all Printers and scanners in the department.
18. Install, configure, and manage software and their functions according to specifications
19. Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes.
20. Conducting reguler backup operations.
