SITE ENGINEER PIPING
* Co-ordinate with PMC, EPC Contractor, subcontractors, Planning, Engineering, Quality, Safety, client,
third party and operational team.
* To Visit Construction Site Daily to Check Piping Works Is Carried Out by Contractor as Per Approved
QA/QA Plan, Project Specifications.
* Coordination with internal discipline (survey, QC, civil, electrical and instrumentation).
* Ensure the compliance of his team with PTW (Permit to Work), JSA (Job Safety Analysis), LOTO (Lock Out
- Tag Out
* Managing all Engineers, supervisors and foreman in the site including outsourced manpower.
* Preparation and monitoring of daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
* Reviews site clarification, queries for site inspection; looks ahead program for critical items.
* Performs work in conformation with plans, specifications, schedules, and cost control estimates.
* Providing hand over documents to client.
* Non-metallic pipe joint explanation/inspection.
* Demonstration of hdpe/ ppr hydraulic machine.
* Attending meeting arranged by company deciding work ahead schedule related issue like daily fit up,
erection, welding backlog, pipe support installation, pipe spool painting, test pack, punch clearing, hydro test
status, pneumatic test, reinstatements, and preservation work related updated with PMT/ PMC, contractor,
manager, engineers, and supervisors.
* Explanation of Plan drawing, isometric, GA & P&ID drawing to foreman, supervisor, jr. Engineer, engineer
and contractor if required.
* Internal line check inspection prior to request rfi line check to qc.
* Power plant erection of piping like ACC piping, BOP piping, MSF piping, Hypochlorisation, STG, HRSG,
Blow down tank, utility system, CCW system Etc.
* Erection of Fin fan cooler, HRSG boiler, Hrsg Harp, Hrsg casing, IP, LP, HP Drum, internal and external
piping BEP /NBEP Bypass stack, Diverter Damper, Guillotine Damper, Blow down Tank.
* Preparation of bill of material related to planning, Inch Día, square meter, weight of pipe, length, total fitting
required.
* Water Treatment Plant (RO/ Desalination) piping works like 1st pass RO/2nd PASS RO/Scrubber UNIT
/Metering unit/Mixed Bed/Carbon Filter/ Sand filter/Ultra Filter Unit.
* Refinery Unit piping works like PPU, SRU, HGU, FCCU, Gantry Etc.
* LNG piping works like STB, SCR, SPR, SKL, GBS and its module piping Etc.
* Managing Shop and field pipe spool, Pipe Support, fabrication, Erection, and Installation of valves.
* Sewage Water gravity flow line and Fire Fighting Piping Works in refinery and powerplants.
* Check and verify installation of gasket, stud bolt, support, all kind of valves, strainers, stream trap etc prior to
line inspection, reinstatement as per drawing.
* Piping inspection in fabrication shop, site erection, erection of valve, filters, pin handling system, pipe support
installation, pipe alignment, pipe rerouting and pipe support modification works.
* Regular basis updated the piping inch diameter achieve per day & also the spool erection, support installation
and test package clearance.
* Punch clearing, bolt torque, bolt tensioning, line check inspection, hydrotest inspection, pneumatic test
inspection and witness.
* Preparation and follow-up for hydro test after completion of mechanical clearance.
* Ensure that all items such as control valves, relief valves, orifice plates, instruments, strainer filter etc., which
could be damaged during pressure test have been removed or isolated.
* Ensure that test blinds installed are the correct thickness prior to pr. Test.
* Visual inspection of pipeline and preparing qc punch list after line installation.
* Review & clearing all WSR/LHS/Loop file/Test pack/Mechanical clearance/punch list/ final As Built
drawings before Pressure test submission to Clint/engineering/qc.
* After completion of hydro test follow-up air blowing, water flushing inspection/witness prior to reinstatement
and preservation activity.
* After completion of hydro test and pneumatic test charging the pipeline for Pre-commissioning and start-up
works.
* Making method of statement for pre-commissioning, and start-up works.
* Able to understand and explain to his team the Commissioning Procedures, P&IDs = Piping and
Instrumentation Diagrams, PFDs = Process Flow Diagrams, Mechanical Drawings and other job-related.
* Understanding the scope of Piping/Pre-commissioning work and the entire technical issue related to the job.
* Flushing of pipe through water, chemical & diesel as per standard prior to start-up.
* Slow run test for motor and pump.
* Preventive maintenance works during Precommissioning/commissioning activity.
* Commissioning activity of fire water system like diesel pumps, electric pump and jockey pumps, deluge, fire
hose cabinet, Sprinkler, Smoke detector, FM200 etc.
* Logout tag out (Loto work) Isolation and normalization of valve if required.
* Pre-Commissioning activity of water treatment plant (RO/DESALNISATION)/Air compressor / ccw system
/Fuel oil/lube oil system / utility system/BOP area/Drainage Water, oily water, and Sewage system/Steam
blowing preparation etc.
* Shut down works.
Certification: -
Certified in ASNT Level II as per SNT-TC-1Aat the American Society
Ultrasonic Testing.
Liquid Penetrant Testing.
Magnetic Particle Testing.
Radiographic Testing (Interpretation).
Visual Testing.
