Young America Corp. headquarter in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is in the business of cultivating customer fulfillment. It is a leading functional unit for service development and it provides core service support in the field of Rebate Processing in the entire United States. The Young America Rebate Processing (YARP) application is used to Develop new rebate applications as per the current offer requirements. The requirements for various Offers are to be studied, categorized, analyzed and then it needs to be developed as per the given set of conditions.

There are basically two modules in this project; they are Offer Creation and Offer Operation.
In the Offer Creation module, developer develops templates for various clients like Office Depot, Brother, HP, AT&T, Samsung, Nokia, Microsoft, D-link, Sony etc. according to their specification called Offer Launch sheet and Forms.
In the Offer Operation module, testers perform Testing on developed templates to check the functionality, features and correctness. There are few tools (client specific) used to test each offers.

ROLES/RESPONSIBILIES:

•Tested ‘Application Templates’ for different clients according to their specifications.
•Prepared test scenarios and test cases as per Template’s requirement.
•Defects tracking and reporting in Defect Tracking tool - YA BugTrack.
•Worked closely with Offers development team to reproduce and resolve the Defects
•Wrote and executed various SQL queries according to test cases.
•Performed Offer’s Templates quality check and quality management.



Other Roles and Responsibilities along with Testing:

• Analyzing the requirements.
• Preparing Estimation for new script development.
• Review of Test Scripts and Function Library.
• Test Data preparation and set up.
• Defect tracking and management in ALM 11 and Microsoft Test Manager.
• Closely interacting with the Client and Onsite Coordinator.
• Responsible for team handling and client’s meeting on daily basis.
• Daily status reporting and report preparation.
• Participation in service review meetings.
