Keeping a close watch of leading domestic and international economic indicators such as Inflation, Government spending, Trade and fiscal Deficit and other market developments to facilitate a market view while decision making for money market and foreign exchange positions.
Dealing in inter-bank and asset management co.’s transactions like Repos & Reverse Repos against Treasury Bills and Govt. /Corporate Bonds along with Call money and clean placement transactions.
Dealing in Islamic Banking and Islamic asset management transactions such as outright buying/selling of Sukuk(Islamic Bond), Lending and borrowing of funds under Musharika and commodity morhaba agreements on overnight and tenor basis.
To liaise with banks and other financial institutions for fulfilling their daily lending and borrowing needs for meeting their Statutory Liquidity & Cash Reserve requirements.
• To maintain the maturity profile of T-Bills, PIB’s and OMO(SBP’s open market operation) in the system that denotes future market liquidity and cash flows which creates a market sentiment of Interest Rates with respect to the announced pre-auction target by the State Bank of Pakistan.
• To provide portfolio management services to our clients by identifying and providing them the combination of short term and long term investment solutions such as Term Finance Certificate (corporate bonds), Treasury Bills, Pakistan Investment Bonds, Sukuk(Islamic Bonds), Commercial Papers, Term Deposits, Certificate of Investment and other fixed income instruments keeping in view of their risk appetite.
