This was my 2nd industry type (automobile) in ERP field. I joined the company at a stage where all departments were having functional ERP, my role was to join the ongoing sub projects & conduct new development sub project as per need. My main responsibilities were
Understanding the workflow of all departments (Sales finance, after sales & procurement).
Analyze, gather requirement from user end & contact the correct agent in the development team to make required development by creating IMS. This responsibility included
I. Testing new developments made by developer & sharing the results with developer.
II. Performing UAT.
III. Updating developer to deploy new updates on production instance after successful UAT.
Get the approval from management if the development is a major one.
Application maintenance support.

The project was with Ministry of Interior-Saudi Arabia Hospitals. Customer types were Nurses, Technicians & Doctors and project objective was to run hospital workflow through ERP & put off manual work.
Main steps in the project were
Identifying user workflow, gathering requirement for ERP from all departments.
Sharing the collected information with ERP developer.
Testing the updates released by developer as the 1st level of test, developer was informed about any technical issue/decency in new developed patch.
Conducting UAT (User Acceptance Test) as 2nd level of testing. User objection was shared with the developer if was any.
Training was provided to users & signoff was taken. Updating Production instance by executing new tested/approved patches.
During each stage, Quality Assurance nurse was available to support & progress.
SQL Server 2008 R2, was used as a database tool, main responsibilities included
1- Database backup from Production instance & restore on Test instance
2- Deploying new patches on Test/Production instance
3- Executing different scripts on test/production instance.
4- Tuning database to improve application speed.

Main development made during the project were
1- Data Archiving: patient manual medical information was uploaded to patient file in HMS (Hospital Management System)
2- Laboratory Analyzers connection with HMS application: Interface was created between Lab analyzers & HMS application to transfer result values directly to application.
3- Patient Biometric Database: registered patients finger scan in HMS database for patient correct identification.
4- Image processing: radiology department uploaded x-ray image to HMS.
5- Dental chart.
6- Reports were created that were used by different departments.
7- Alert system for different modules.
a. Drug/food allergy alert for physician.
b. Patient medication for dispensing department
c. New appointment alert for physician

The job had below roles

100 plus users included in active directory
• Active Directory Management /Administration.
This task having deploying GPO for different user groups, adding/creating new users, assigning different access to users/groups.

• Local Area Network administration & Maintenance
Administrating local area network, extending networking as management instructions. Maintaining LAN, troubleshooting different issue to related to LAN.
