Responsible for enterprise IT functions covering database administration, IT collaboration
platforms, and internal enterprise systems. I manage operations through technical leads with
accountability for service stability, vendor performance, and operational governance.
The scope includes:
Database Administration: MSSQL and Oracle operations, performance management, backups,
patching, capacity planning and production support
IT Collaboration and Communication: contact center platforms, corporate PBX, call recording,
WFM/WFO and related integrations
Internal Enterprise Systems: OpenText ECM, SharePoint, infrastructure monitoring,
enterprise certificate management and patch management
The role focuses on operational reliability and structured service delivery, working with
business units and vendors to ensure systems remain stable, secure, and aligned with
enterprise priorities. I oversee change planning, risk handling, and prioritization across the
three domains while delegating execution through the technical teams.
I work directly with business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and external partners to
balance availability, compliance, and cost and to mature processes around database
operations and collaboration services.

In my role as the Vice President of Application Management Support at Core Enterprise Solutions/NBK in Kuwait, I oversaw the support and optimization of critical applications across banking, financial reporting, customer onboarding, online services, content management, and IT infrastructure. I led a multidisciplinary team and collaborated with vendors to ensure high service quality and efficiency.

As the Unit Head of Application Management Support, I lead and oversee three specialized
teams managing over 50 critical business applications across various domains and countries. I
collaborate with local and international vendors to ensure seamless support, maintenance,
and development of applications critical to organizational operations.

• Network design, implementation, administration, operation, and monitoring of data,
voice and security systems for NBK in multiple countries.
• Budget management, vendor negotiation, and change management to ensure
99.99% availability.
• Team leadership, policy and procedure development, and third-party management
to build a high-performing team and deliver robust services.
• Network optimization, new technology recommendation, and end-to-end solution
validation to minimize risks and improve services.
• Investigation, diagnosis, and resolution of network problems and periodic
maintenance to ensure smooth network operations.

• Manage all aspects of the IP network, including implementation, administration, maintenance, and site connectivity. This includes working with a cross-functional team to ensure that the network meets the needs of the business and is aligned with overall IT strategy.
• Oversee network security systems (Firewall, IPS, WAF, VPN and NAC) to provide remote access connectivity. This includes ensuring that the security systems are properly configured and maintained, and that they are effective in protecting the network from cyber threats.
• Design and implement new network solutions for B2B enterprise customers, with a focus on cost optimization and capacity management. This includes working with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their budget and performance requirements.
• Develop and implement core Maintenance & Technology Infrastructure Operation and Service Management Processes. This includes creating and maintaining documentation, establishing procedures, and managing third-party suppliers to ensure that the network is operated and maintained efficiently and effectively.
