I am responsible for all the maintenance activities in ALFARABI Jubail Complex. My responsibility includes the daily maintenance execution plans, maintenance planning function, 3rd party contracting, etc.

TA and Major Maintenance Manager at KEMYA (SABIC & Exxonmobil JV)

I was assigned to develop the newly established Major Maintenance Department within KEMYA organization by hiring/recruiting manpower and develop work procedures and guidelines for the department.

During this time I led 2 major plant shutdowns:
- PBR Plant SD
- EPDM Plant SD

Utilities and Offsites Maintenance Manager at KEMYA (SABIC & Exxonmobil JV)

As a maintenance manager, I am responsible to coordinate the maintenance activities for mechanical, machinery, instrument and electrical groups in UOD plants. This coordination requires detailed planning skills, reasonable technical knowledge, and outstanding decision-making. It is my responsibility to review and execute preventive, corrective and support maintenance activities.

I established high level of synchronization with operation and technical departments to achieve the all maintenance activities under the designated budget. Our primary goal was to achieve adequate maintenance strategies with optimum cost and high reliability to the equipment. I am responsible to maintain all equipment to perform at their designed operating parameters with minimum breakdowns.

I am responsible to identify performance killers and bad actors in the UOD area and report them to asset reliability department for resolution plans. I am also responsible to implement reliability and sustainability recommendations for maintenance strategy improvements.

Instrument Maintenance Manager at KEMYA (SABIC & Exxonmobil JV)

Supervises and coordinates maintenance instrument systems for KEMYA KOP/UOD plants. It is my responsibility to maintain the instrument systems and equipment in a safe, effective and cost optimum way. I am also responsible to have all instrument bad actor improvement plans implemented.

I am accountable and responsible for the activities carried by the maintenance instrument supervisors and specialists.

I carry out regular inspection of the plant area and implements approved plans. Organizes, chair and participate in a variety of meetings. Review, communicate approve and authorize a variety of reports. Evaluate and determine appropriate response to major or critical problems. Coordinate with the planning manager for maintenance planning activities.

Instrument and Control System Engineer at KEMYA (SABIC & Exxonmobil JV)

Instrument engineer for Kemya's LDPE plant (Low Density Ploy Ethylene) reporting to the manager of Control System and Electrical Department. As an instrument engineer, I am responsible for operating, upgrading and maintaining the control system of the plant. The control system primarily consists of control logic systems and field instruments.

Examples of the control systems are:
- Honeywell.
- Triconex.
- Siemens PLC (S7).
- Allen Bradly.
- Bently Nevada.

Examples of the field instruments:
- Control Valves.
- Temperature, Level, Pressure, Speed and Flow Measurement.
- Digital Power Supplies.
- K-Tron Feeder.

Being an engineer in Kemya requires high skills in project management and troubleshooting. It encourages constant communication and teamwork.

 Lead and contributed in many improvement projects such as BFW valve upgrade, BN VMS upgrade, Triconex System upgrade, Sea Water project and JW analyzer upgrade.
