Managed all logistical operations to include the planning, inventory management, transportation, warehousing and handling of over $200 million of materials and equipment, resulting in complete uninterrupted support, sustainment and integrated internal supply chain operation.
Duties:
• Manage all logistical operations for organization consisting of six subordinate departments; resulting in a 100% responsibility of equipment, materials and finished products with nearly a 100% level of availability, efficiency and effectiveness.
• Analyze statistical data and reports to ascertain trends in performance, resulting in maximum effective and efficient use of logistical resources.
• Foresee constraints in operations flow, resulting in changes implemented that allowed for operations to continue without interruption and synchronized flow.
• Lead and mentor 200 individuals of direct labors in Logistics sector in additional to tremendous number of logistics service providers including material handling, transportation, Protective packaging, customs clearance …etc.
• Coordinate with all concerned internal and external supply chain members.
• Focus on lean manufacturing philosophy application where it will have the greatest immediate impact on the bottom line.
• On-going training and development on human resources to achieve staff professionalism.
• Ensure application of all safety regulations and rules to keep people, equipment and products in right conditions
As a one of the most important supply chain drivers and as a part of Logistics Department, I was responsible for secure the right material for the right customer in the right quantity at the right place in the right time within the right conditions and the right cost.
Duties:
• Manage materials and components inventory of consumables to ensure availability of materials to meet plant requirements in a timely and optimized manner - Keep stocks of materials at proper minimum stock.
• Manage handling activities with effective efficient manner to save process in time.
• Act as a liaison between Production, Quality Control, Purchasing and Sales in solving problems related to maintaining production and inventories plans.
• Direct personnel in performing day-to-day materials management operations.
