Working as the Head/Main Warrant Scheduler, I am solely responsible for scheduling warrants in the whole of London. On a daily basis I complete and update the Warrant Scheduling calendar by making sure that each Warrant officer has adequate jobs in the right area by making sure that all the information on the calendar reciprocates what is on the database. I also create court packs for the court reps to take to court and apply for a warrant. In order to do this I have to update the court visit log to ensure that the court reps know how many warrants they are applying for at court and what court they will be going to. In order to find out how many jobs are going to court, I have to first confirm them in sap and check if they are a “go” or a “stop “and then finally update them in the database as confirmed or cancelled. After the warrants come back from court. I update them in the database as obtained or rejected at court depending on whether the judge has signed them or not.
As a scheduler my continual liaising with staff from various departments such as metering, gas team and RPS, has enabled me to develop my communication skills. A skill which can be incorporated into any future position I take on.
