acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives;
setting out, leveling and surveying the site;
checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations;
ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications;
overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant;
agreeing a price for materials, and making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project;
managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect;
liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project;
liaising with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws;
liaising with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress;
day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors;
planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines;
overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site;
preparing reports as required;
resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
Monitoring and follow-up all work progress as per work schedule.Ensure quality of work, material control and time management & minimize of wastage.Capable to anticipate problems and able to provide solution to minimize complexity.
• Executing the work on daily basis with in scheduled time.
• Quality check and quality control of every activity.
• Preparation of monthly schedule based on to complete the work.
• Co-ordination with architects, consultant and other agencies involved in the construction.
• Bill check and certifying of contractor works.
• Controlling of cost, time, quality of project by using right methodology, right construction technique at the right time.
• Interacting and coordinating with agencies involving in construction for smooth completion of work.
• Handling the construction material, manpower, equipments in planned & right manner to avoid wastage & loss to the company
• Construction by using Mivan shuttering
• Monitoring the construction work such as layout marking, concrete work, shuttering reinforcement, & other civil related work.
• Surveying & leveling by use of theodolite, auto level, for accuracy of work.
• Preparation of exact running bills.
• Conducting & recordings of civil material test report.
• Quality control of every work by inspecting every square centimeter by use of right tools.
