I've been promoted to lead the Accounting team and became in charge of higher budget projects along with my initial job description as a finance officer.
• Prepare and review budgets, revenue, expenses, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents
• Ensure proper consumption of approved financial budget
• Reconcile, monitor and report bank account transactions and balances
• Knowledge in financial, accounting and reporting applications, such as Visual Dolphin and MIS.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, statements and forecasts
• Review supporting documents of expenditures incurred on projects to ensure eligibility of costs
• Coordinate with the external auditor, prepare audit requirements prior the fieldwork execution, assist the external auditor with all requirements (NGO and Grant level), prepare NGO financial statements for auditor report
• Issuing financial reports before due dates.
• Financial Contact Point on projects in hand
• Training new joiners in accounting department and coaching trainees
• Leading finance teams and managing performance
