Inesfly Africa is a company that manufactures Insecticide solutions to combat disease vectors. Among our flagship products is an insecticide paint using a patented micro - encapsulation technique for slow release of insecticides with up to 2 years efficacy. I direct the company’s technical vision as aligned with the company’s strategic goals. I drive development and future growth through product and process innovation and lead all aspects of the company’s technological development through Research and Development.

I am responsible for the formulation of the company's Technical Strategy and its implementation throughout the countries in which Inesfly is represented. We currently export products to Nigeria, Cameroun and Namibia, and aim to be represented in 22 African Countries by December 2018. One of my core responsibilities is to ensure the efficient transfer of technology to manufacturers and consumers of Inesfly products. I train Technical Staff and drive Technological advancement of our processes and products through Research and Development. I work in collaboration with the Research and Development Team at Inesfly Corporation in Spain to collaborate on field trials for Inesfly Products.

I direct the Manufacturing Activities of the organisation, and spearhead Plant Installation and upgrade projects at our various manufacturing sites in Africa. In addition I develop products and adapt them for the African Market, as aligned with the Marketing Brief and ensure a smooth product life cycle from Product Design to Commercialisation.

I am involved in the development of Paint Technical Specifications for projects, working closely with clients on site. I also liaise with regulatory bodies such as the Food and Drugs Authority, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Ghana Standards Authority to ensure compliance of our products and processes. I act as the face of the company at Trade Shows and aid the companies Business Development efforts through Technical Sales representation as and when required.

I manage the Dulux Product Portfolio. I am responsible for managing the Dulux Production and Technical Functions. This involves the Planning, Coordination and Control of Dulux Manufacturing Processes while ensuring adherence to Dulux Product Quality Standards.

I am responsible for a team of 40 individuals who are based in the Manufacturing and Technical Departments. My role involves overseeing the Manufacturing Process to ensure optimised resource usage, Waste Minimisation Programmes and overseeing Preventive Plant Maintenance Programmes. In addition I spearhead Value Engineering Programmes for Dulux Proprietary Formulations, coordinate Research and Development Activities and oversee Quality Control Functions.

I worked in the Quality Assurance and Research and Development departments of an edible oil and soap manufacturing company. I was responsible for analysis of raw materials, in-process materials and end-products for conformance using various analytical techniques (wet chemistry, colorimetry and Gas Chromatography). I was also responsible for New Product development and took part in the creative (brainstorming, branding) and developmental (new product formulations, new product trials and testing of various formulations) phases of this task. I was also a member of a team that spearheaded the companies drive towards ISO 9001 certification. I was also responsible for compiling Quality Systems.
