Duties & Responsibilities:
o Enhanced my knowledge about the operation of the drilling rig
o Handle the tasks of installing, commissioning, and repairing rig equipment for drilling operation
o Perform responsibilities of cleaning and maintaining mechanical and hydraulic equipment on rig.
o Responsible for tearing down and rebuilding rigs to fit drilling of massive structures
o Assigned responsibilities of scheduling preventive maintenance, servicing, and maintenance of equipment
o Performed the tasks of conducting routine maintenance by following rig operation procedures.

o Performed responsibilities of assisting senior rig mechanic in the repairing and maintenance of heavy drilling at onshore.

o Handled responsibilities of ensuring the adequate stock to perform maintenance and repairing of equipment
o Responsible for updating maintenance problems to the drilling supervisor and line manager.
o Assigned responsibilities of lifting heavy equipment and ordering maintenance equipment in order of importance
o Maintenance of Rig Machinery Such as Draworks, Mud pumps, Power units, Rotary table.
o Observed the Operation of Rig Running, pulling of casing and Tubing
o Assist, coordinate and monitor the operators during rig transfer operations, supervising in particular the disassembly, loading, unloading and assembly of the mechanical devices and equipments
o Prepares and maintains up-to-date maintenance records on all rig equipment
o Establishes work priorities and provides drawing and sketches as required to his subordinates.
o Prepared the daily drilling reports.
• Maintenance and overhauling of engines, gas compressors and water injection pumps and welding of a pipelines.
• Calibrations of pressure and temperature gauges and flange testing in instrumentation shop.
• Performed the cathodic protection maintenance testing in electrical shop.
• Troubleshooting of problem if any occurs on these sites.
• Familiarized with Drilling Rig components and their working.
• Enhanced knowledge about control panels, annunciation panel, oil/gas processing plant, air conditioning and refrigeration system.
