ORGANIZATION \n1) . Project: School Feeding Programme \nWORLD FOOD PROGRAMME (WFP) \n \n Major Responsibilities: \n• Carry out school assessments. \n• Assist in planning and implementing of distributions of HEB’s and Vig. OIL. \n• Initiate written, verbal progress report. \n• Conduct meetings with childrens, parents and teachers to create programme awareness. \n• undertake any other task assign by Project Manager.
PROJECT: LIVESTOCK FOR LIFE \nDISEGNATION: SOCIAL ORGANIZER \n1 Sep.2011- till 30 oct.2011 \nDuty station: Swabi \n \nMajor Responsibilities \n* To carryout baseline, need assessment and KAP surveys in the target communities. \n* Organize communities into community organizations or project support committees for the proposed interventions at grassroots level. \n* Identification and selection of Community Animal and Health Workers and other integrated beneficiaries as per the set criteria under the project. \n* Organize and conduct meetings and awareness raising campaigns at community & school level. \n* Formation of health clubs /youth clubs and conducting the training sessions at school and community level for children and women. \n* Facilitate in arranging meetings with communities and assist the District Manager in organizing and conducting trainings, workshops and seminars at village & district level. \n* Properly document field activities on prescribed formats and ensure that necessary information is accurately entered and shared with District Manager and veterinarians under the project. \n* Facilitate District Manager in feedback for preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports. \n* Strengthen and promote the process of community development in project areas, particularly in raising awareness, prevention and response capacity building against various zoonotic diseases. \n* Assist in the baseline data collection and all important information/ data needed for monitoring and evaluation purposes. \n* Draft success stories & compilations of case studies as often as possible and on need basis.
* Any other official responsibility assigned by the District Manager/APM/PM \n3s): PROJECT: RAPID LIVELIHOODS REBUILDING VIA LIVESTOCK (RLRL) \nDISEGNATION: SOCIAL ORGANIZER \njune 2011- Aug. 2011 \nDuty station: Nowshera \nMajor Responsibilities: • Initial contact with the flood affected community representatives and collection of basic information regarding the flood damages in the respective village. \n• Union council meetings/gatherings for discussion on the project implementation strategy with the community stake holders. \n• Flood affected village visits and meeting with the respective community elders/social workers and stake holders. \n• Awareness of the community regarding the project activities, procedures and selection of CO member & beneficiaries for RLRL project - Nowshera. \n• Formation of the CO's at union council level of representatives of the union council associated villages. \n• Respective villages CO formation with the consensus of the respective community stake holders and members. \n• Beneficiary identification and selection under the RLRL project with the help of community organization (CO) \n• The capacity building of the beneficiaries build by providing them trainings on the manage mental/rearing practices of livestock (goats) \n• The project inputs Beetal Goats distribution among the trained beneficiaries.
ORGANIZATION: NATIONAL RURAL SUPPORT PROGRAME (NRSP) \nDESIGNATION: SOCIAL ORGANIZER \nDUTY STATION: MARDAN \nDURATION: 1 JAN 2010 TILL 17 OCT. 2010. \nRESPONSIBILITIES AND TASK: • Making contact with and organizing local communities in the most appropriate forms of organization. \n• Training local leaders and activists in the basics of organizing communities and introducing a programme of savings, capital formation and skill development/enhancement. \n• Training concerned local persons in maintaining records, organizing savings, and developing plans (prior to actual training) for the utilization of skill training at the community level. \n• Exchanging ideas and experiences with management and field staff as to inculcate the spirit of debate and discussion with in NRSP. \n• Study the existing organizational structures in the region, and identify area of immediate concern and high priority around which community groups can be organized. \n• Managing NRSP's interventions such as credit, agriculture, livestock, poultry, infrastructure schemes, training, etc.
