Planning for Preventive Maintenance and Schedule
Maintenance and Overhauling of Centrifugal Pumps, Blowers, Gear Pumps
Preventive and breakdown maintenance of Gate valve, Globe valve, Rotary valves, Lever valves, Non return valve
Lubricates and cleans parts
Responsible for preparing a monthly report regarding major jobs
Create and review documentation and technical drawings
Ensuring that mechanical work undertaken is in line with relevant standards and legislation
Assign Tasks to staff of the section
Finding and fixing faults and recalibrating instruments
Provide Technical input/approval for proposed modifications.
Ensure Production equipment operates efficiently by supervising and performing equipment maintenance on daily basis.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Supervise the weekly and monthly preventive maintenance inspections; conducts safety compliance inspections and maintains records of the production equipment
Analyzes equipment failures, determines cause(s) and makes necessary adjustments or repairs
Repairs or replaces defective parts, using hand tools and power tools
Maintenance of Valves like Globe valve, gate valve, ball valve and butter fly valve, needle valve, (NRV) none return valve, Pressure safety valve operation and maintenance.
Repairs and maintains, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment, such as Pumps, valves, compressors and equipment, using hand tools, power tools, and precision-measuring and testing instruments
Carryout routine plan for Preventive & corrective maintenance
Completing traceability reports and ensuring all stages of work completed are signed off on route sheets.
Enforce COMPANY HSSE and Quality policies and guidelines/procedures, and ensure that all HSSE measures and precautions are strictly considered and taken care of during the execution of Maintenance activities to avoid any activity which might lead to Health Safety and Environment incidents / nonconformance.
Familiar with different Process Equipment’s, welding techniques, welding tools and equipment, testing and quality control measures
Ensure good housekeeping is maintained in all areas.
Stage wise Inspection of heat exchanger, vessels and columns fabrication as per Quality plan
Inspection of shop fabricated tanks
Preparation of material summary / Line Summary and dimension inspectional reports
Responsible for the inspection of Pre- and Post-welding.
Arrange NDT as per code and specification
Arrange Mechanical and Chemical testing of materials as per code and specification
Assign Tasks to staff of the section.
Arrange meetings between Designers and Program Management.
Inspection of Hardness Test, Pneumatic test, Hydro test
Hydrostatic/pneumatic/water fill test inspection
Dimensional & welding Inspection of pressure vessels fabricated against ASME sec VIII, ASME Sec III, API 620
Inspection of pre-shipment of the equipment’s.
Responsible for preparation of Final Dossier.
Inspection of pre-fabricated piping.
Stage & Final Inspection, Welding & Dimension check.
Ensure the material traceability & reviewing of MTCs & lab test reports.
Inspection of fit-up as per drawing & WPS.
Control the consumables as per WPS & Procedure.
Visual inspection of welds and perform PT & MT.
Monitor all NDT and reviewing of RT films as per codes & specifications.
Maintain all NDT records.
Reviewing of PWHT graphs ( if any) & reports according to codes & specifications
Perform final Visual & Dimensional Inspection of the equipment’s and preparation of reports.
Coordinate with client representatives for inspection and testing.
Check the alignment of the rotary equipment’s and preparation of reports
Preparation of complete QA/QC Dossier.
Quality Control of Mechanical works (Machining & Fabrication & Welding) Activities.
Co-ordination with client‘s QC regarding NDE
Review and approval of final field inspection records.
Maintain the record of Calibration of Measuring Instruments (likes Micrometers, Calipers, Precision Square, Dial Indicator, Gauges etc.). Both Manually & Computerized using MIS Software.
Calibration of Welding Machines (GTAW, SMAW, SAW, Narrow Gap, Strip Cladding) with the help of Portable Arc Monitoring System.
Wall thickness measurement by Dial & Digimatic Micrometers.
Incoming material inspection verified with MTC.
Control Project Documentation.
Ensure the implementation of applicable codes and standards.
Preparation of Quality Inspection Plan, Procedures, Checklist,
Non-conformity Reports
Ensuring that quality assurance standards and procedures are maintained.
