Worked as Project Purchasing & Logistics Manager for setting up Alghanim Industries, Kuwait (AI) and Saint Gobain, France (SGI) Joint Venture Stone wool manufacturing facility in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. ( Euro 45 Million)
• Responsible for Complete Sourcing, Procurement, Negotiations for Materials & Services for the Project from AI side.
• Responsible for the importation of All Equipment from outside KSA and All Logistic activities for the Project.
• Negotiations with the suppliers and their Legal Team to finalise the Project contract for all orders.
• Coordinating with the Project Team and Finance Team to ensure payment processing is done on time.
• Processing of All orders into ERP system.
• To coordinate with the Clearing Agents, Suppliers to ensure the documentation is perfect ensuring clearance and delivery on time.
• Ensured Equipment is delivered as per Project Schedule.
• Sourcing of Raw Materials needed for start up of this new manufacturing facility.
• Finalization, Negotiations and signing off the contract for Raw Materials with Raw Material vendors.
• In coordination with the Clearing Agent, Applied for the Customs duty exemption, followed up so that we could get exemption on the duties for Equipment imported.
• Supported the New manufacturing facility for Supply Chain Operations until the New Supply Chain Manager joined the organisation.

• Procure all equipment, consumables and materials required for KIMMCO, whilst optimising profitability, with reference to price, stock levels and delivery period. Purchased items to meet required specifications.

• Monitor delivery of all shipments as per agreed terms and expedite as required. Update the concerned departments as required.
• Quarterly projection of All Raw material & Facing requirements based on historical data and forecast from relevant departments to maintain agreed stock levels.

 Savings of approx USD 47k through Lean Six sigma Green Belt project of increasing the Payable Days.
 Mentored and Lead the entire Procurement Team to carry out Individual Kaizen events and got them Lean Six Sigma White belt certification.
 Savings in 2010 of approx USD 950k through negotiation with the suppliers.
 Initiated many changes in the SAP - MM module like safety Stock, MRP, trigger email, auto generation of requisition etc.
 Developed procedures for scrap disposals and brought in savings of approx USD 35k
