Currently working as a Lead Coating Inspector for MAPNA GROUP. Leading the Inspection team activities relating to the whole coating, painting, lining and insulation of a new building petrochemical refinery construction.
Co-ordination with different departments of refinery and know their requirements in the fields of coating and other corrosion protection. Carry out inspection as per quality inspection and test plan, Review procedures, review reports and test plans and ensuring compliance to project specifications. Carry out stage wise inspection of preparation and painting activities and maintaining of all relevant documents and records. Responsible for complying repair procedure in accordance with recommendation of the manufacturer and the approved coating procedures as per specifications.
Inspection of all painting and coating activities carried out by contractors such as coating painting and insulation on south pars gas field development onshore facilities (refinery).
All modules are new build including steel structures, pipe racks, flare towers, atmospheric and condensate tanks and all associated pipe spools such as stainless steel, carbon steel and fittings. Concrete painting of cable room and switch gear substations. Many coating system are being used, epoxies, organic zinc, zinc rich epoxy, polyurethane, alkyd and acrylic, fire proofing cements. Inspection of insulation applied to pipe spools after heat tracing. Touch up of structures and all damage areas during construction/ commissioning stage. Review all documents prepared by contractors.
Employed by GL Noble Denton Co. to provide 3rd Party Inspections for painting and coating of
New building offshore structures (Decks, Jackets, Tower flares, Bridges and other facilities). Monitoring all stage of the coating and painting operation from surface cleaning to final check of coated structures. Performing all tests required by specification of the project. Approval of the contractor prepared daily documents. Approval of the procedures and technical queries.
Performed inspection of marine and industrial coatings to ensure paint was applied in accordance to BAJAK’s specification. Performed several dry dockings. Recommended products when required and provided written specifications to the owner and shipyard. Kept thorough daily reports with photos, expense reports and quantity reports for BAJAK Co. and owner.
Inspection of all running painting activities on each stage and report to client. Performing adhesion tests, salt test, measuring the roughness.
Raising RFI for each stage of work.
Taking all Environment condition and keeping proper record before and during of work Inspection of WFT, DFT, Whirling Psychomotor, substrate temp, Holiday testing machine etc.
Monitoring and quality control of polyurethane insulation productions in the laboratory of the factory and preparing quality report and giving quality approval to batches of products and providing technical service to the industrial customers.
