• Prepare multidiscipline, conceptual and definitive cost estimates for Capital Projects in Aspentech Software & excel sheet.
• Prepare cost estimate for different stage of projects such as, Study Estimate, Budget Estimate, ER Estimate & Company Estimate for client such as Saudi Aramco, Petro Rabigh, Maaden, etc.
• Prepare estimate basis & estimate plans
• Work with Quantity Surveyor and Discipline Engineers to validate the scope of work, BOQs and MTOs for all disciplines.
• Coordinate with project Commercial / Procurement to obtain local market quotes and trend to estimate cost for any variations or additional works.
• Prepare the Bill of quantities (BOQ) after through study of the FEED data, drawings and technical specifications provided for the projects.
• Preparation of cost estimates for large EPC projects by Identifying and quantifying all cost factors involved in the project and rate analysis
• Establish and implement Project cost estimation database for benchmarking and reference.
• Co-ordinate & work with stakeholders to ensure estimates are accurate and to make appropriate adjustments and resolve issues.
• Prepare the Bill of quantities (BOQ) after through study of the FEED data, drawings and technical specifications provided for the projects.
• Preparation of accurate cost of man-hours, plant & machinery, tools & tackles for large EPC projects.
• Prepare AFE (Authorization for Expenditures) budgets for higher management approval & coordination with project control & design team for raising Contract Request (CR) within stipulated time.
• Prepare comprehensive and accurate Tender Check Estimate (TCE) for projects approved for the fiscal year and Budget Proposal (BP) for upcoming projects based on the technical and design data provided by design department.
• Assist in preparation of Form of Tender (FOT) - Price schedule of capturing price for the complete scope of works as per the specifications, involved in Value engineering workshops & provide cost analysis of the project.
• Carry out comprehensive Bid Evaluation for the tenders received from contractors, which includes the preparation of clarifications to bidder & coordinating with contracts department.
• Evaluate & process the Adjustment Order (AO) request received from project management & construction team by preparing KOC estimate against contractors claim, participate extensively in the price negotiation cycle.
• Preparing quantities for cost plans at order-of-magnitude, conceptual, feasibility and pre-development stages, including value engineering and major variations.
• Prepare and float RFQ’s to suppliers from KOC list of approved vendors, collecting quote and techno commercial comparison for major mechanical equipment.
• Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project.
• Study the tender documents like ITB, conditions of contract, technical specification, etc. for preparation of competitive bids.
• Detailed quantity take-off from contract drawings and specifications.
• Prepare detailed accurate material, labor, equipment, subcontracts, and construction facilities for Mechanical Scope, which includes, Steel Structure, Mechanical Equipment (Static & Rotating), Piping, Pipeline & Components.
• Attend on-site pre-bid/proposal meetings and site visits and prepare Site Visit reports.
• Create Manpower deployment schedules, Plant & Machinery deployment schedules as per estimated project schedule.
• Analyzes, evaluates, and forecasts status against an established baseline schedule. Assesses the impact(s) of design or construction changes and schedule slippages. Reports schedule status to all levels of project and Company management as well as to the Client.
• Develop detailed EPC Scope Matrix covering all Engineering Deliverables required as per Tender scope covering all Disciplines i.e., Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecom.
• Sub-Contractor Progress Invoice Evaluating and certification of Sub contractor invoices pertaining to all kind of civil works, Mechanical works.
• Prepare project cost reports and analyses in a timely manner showing the financial status of the project.
• Aid and support with the Project Managers and in-country QS related to finalizing cost reports and, claims and variations.
• Preparing budgets for projects awarded and organize meeting with project execution team to ensure smooth job transfer
• Assist the project execution team in commercial and contractual issues during the project cycle and liaise with clients with change order estimating as required by jobs in progress and gain approvals.
• Evaluation of techno-commercial offer of sub-contractors, classify, compare & Negotiation with Vendors / Contractors.
• Prepare Technical Presentation for client Clarification meetings.
• Study of products, understanding of process & discussing with engineering team.
• Ensure the quality of work conducted and make sure all are as per specifications.

• Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors.
• Review material and labour requirements, to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components.
• Ensure the quality of work conducted and make sure all are as per specifications.
• Contribute to the team ethic and perform other reasonable duties as required in support of the business.
• Study of drawings and co-ordinating with other departments to review and verify the drawings/scope of work, formulate the scope of work/BOQ.
