As a Quality Specialist overseeing the ISO 9001 Project for each department, my main responsibility is to ensure that every part of our organization meets the required quality standards. Working closely with department leaders, I carefully evaluate their operational processes to find areas that need improvement, while making sure they follow ISO rules.
Within each department, I help them through the ISO 9001 certification process and set up quality management systems that fit their needs. I look at data to see how they're doing and find ways to make things better, so each department gets better at quality.
I collaborate with department teams to ensure our collective focus remains on enhancing product quality and service standards. Through ongoing improvement efforts, we uphold our reputation for excellence within each department.
In my capacity as a System Integration & Digital Transformation Project Leader, I engaged in close collaboration with multiple department leaders to conduct comprehensive analyses of existing processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization. By actively empathizing with each department's challenges, I provided tailored solutions to address specific needs and operational pain points.
I developed a user-friendly dashboard interface using Excel to visually present key insights and performance indicators (KPIs). This empowered executives with real-time, data-driven insights, fostering a culture of informed decision-making throughout the organization. The dashboard also served as a blueprint for the development of a new system, enabling the IT department to easily grasp complex information. This ensured alignment with organizational objectives and user requirements, with a targeted launch within the next year.
Through the implementation of this dashboard, the main goal was to streamline decision-making processes, reduce obstacles, and drive sustained organizational efficiency and success.
My primary responsibilities held a wide range of crucial functions, including managing Maritime Operations, Exports, Eastern, and middle province's Mega Projects, B2B local and international order entries, Dry-docks, Sea-stocks.. etc.
I served as the global representative for Jotun Saudi, acting as the pivotal link between various departments, particularly in matters related to Marines and Exports. An achievement I take pride in is the successful exportation of goods totaling an estimated 38.1 million SAR to both our inter-companies and external partners since joining.
Effective communication is at the core of my responsibilities. I engage with a diverse array of stakeholders, including Inter-companies, Clients, Salesmen, Warehouses, Ship Chandlers, Vessel Masters, and Seaports Agents. This entails meticulous tracking of vessel ETAs & ETBs across continents and the gathering of delivery tickets and bill of ladings to share it with the key stakeholders.
I'm handling the entire export process thoroughly from inception to completion. This includes managing documentation, invoices, weight calculations, generating the Certificate of Origin, attesting the documents through the Ministry of Commerce and Investment, and the Chamber of Commerce.
My role extends to negotiating critical decisions related to freight costs for Sea, Air, and Land shipments by selecting the most suitable options from our third-party logistics agency, while considering the IncoTerms based on our inter-company's preference.
I actively engage in material forecasting and collaborate closely with the planners to ensure optimal inventory levels across all our branches throughout the kingdom. This strategic planning is crucial, particularly during campaigns or periods of heightened seasonal demand.
Moreover, I took responsibility for Master Account Creation and the management of its amendments for all our customers. Approving web orders and ensuring timely release to dealers across the kingdom.
Managed communications with over 75 companies, providing timely responses to inquiries on a 24/7 basis.
Engaged with a diverse range of companies, ranging from micro-enterprises to large corporations.
Supported the Supply Chain Department for a duration of two months, contributing to its operational effectiveness.
Served as an internal auditor in the Data Cleansing Project, ensuring accuracy and reliability of organizational data.
