Job responsibilities:
fixing and maintaining a company’s IT systems
maintain, support, develop and design a company’s communication network.
Management and administration of the Windows servers & services like AD, DNS, DHCP, DFS, and
IIS.
Ensuring reliable backups of all the critical data and servers.
Evaluate, test & deploy software and hardware upgrades to the server infrastructure.
Here is a list of things i can expect to do on any given day:
1- Install new hardware and software.
2- Assist in developing, implementing, testing & maintaining server level disaster recovery plans.
3- Setting up accounts for company employees with passwords and permissions.
4- Monitoring a company’s systems with security the prime objective.
5- Fixing network faults.
6- Installing antivirus protection.
7- Coming up with IT solutions to fix a company’s problems.
8- Ensuring staff is properly trained on new systems.
