• Aligned Marafiq's growth strategy with KSA Vision 2030, securing board approval to explore ‘wastewater recycle’ and ‘renewable energy’ opportunities through bidding or bilateral negotiations ensuring revenue/profitability growth in non-regulated space.
• Secured a 20MLD complex industrial wastewater treatment and recycling project in partnership with an international company in wastewater for an upcoming petrochemical facility through bilateral negotiations. Leading Marafiq to execute a long-term service agreement, overseeing all KPIs, client expectations, and contractual obligations.
• Achieved 47% operational cost savings in a 125MLD IWWTP project by executing it through the DBO structure. Tasked to recommend the best strategy for Marafiq to execute the project through a techno-commercial and risk evaluation of EPC Vs. BOT Vs DBO route.
• Led Marafiq as a Project Director for a world class Co-generation and Desalination Project bidding (890MW/2390KPPH /20MLD) managing all technical, legal, and commercial streams in partnership with an international developer. (L2 bidder).
• Presented renewable energy growth opportunities for Marafiq and secured Board approval to enter the sector in Industrial Cities of the Royal Commission. Signed an MOU with two key players of Saudi Arabia to develop a 400MW solar PV project in Yanbu, secured land allocation, developed RFP for the feasibility study, led the study on behalf of the consortium and secured management approval to go ahead with the project based on the study outcome.
• Signed JDA with a world leader in wastewater treatment to develop a 50MLD decentralised wastewater treatment and recycling plant providing services to seven petrochemical industries in Jubail. Completed feasibility study and led bilateral discussions with off-takers and the land owner.
• Assisted the bid team for successful RFQ submission and JDA negotiations with a world leader in water for a 600MLD IWP project of SWPC, which involves seawater desalination using RO technology.
• Partnered with a downstream petrochemical leader to develop a large scale ISPP facility (2600MW/3000TPH) with a large steam network of around 40 KM. Led Marafiq project team for ITB development to appoint a FEED consultant.
• Signed MoU with a Korean project developer and successfully submitted RFQ to bid for a 800MW Pet-coke to power project to be commissioned in Jubail for an international Oil & Gas conglomerate.
• Evaluated over 20 business opportunities for Marafiq, presenting business cases with detailed partnership, CAPEX, OPEX, IRR, risk analyses and recommendations to top management for investment decisions.

• Founded a private limited company in India, recruited and managed a team of 4 executives as Managing Director, focusing on market research, consultancy, and decentralized solar PV projects.
• Designed and commissioned a 4KW solar PV system with a 4000AH battery backup for a rice mill in Assam.
• Advised Mlinda Foundation on business models for decentralized solar mini-grids (15/25/50 KW) for rural electrification in Jharkhand and West Bengal.
• Guided Greenergy Renewables Pvt. Ltd. in preparing a competitive bid for a 25MW utility-scale solar IPP project in Odisha.
• Represented Centre for Science & Environment (CSE) at the 2014 Bonn Climate Change Conference and managed a side event on 'Energy Access to All.'
• Served as Program Director for CSE's renewable program, co-authoring 4 research-based policy advocacy reports.
• Collaborated with ICCO India to write a $1.1M funding proposal to USAID for a pilot clean cooking energy project in Assam's tea gardens.
• Consulted for Croda Chemical to develop an RFP for a 100KW rooftop solar project at their Navi Mumbai plant under the RESCO model.

• Increased copper consumption by 26, 000 tons per year in India and Egypt by promoting copper intensive renewable technologies and energy efficient electrical systems.
• Identified growth opportunities for copper in mini-grids and commissioned a pilot project electrifying 300 households and providing them energy access in a village in Bihar.
• Led ICA as a technical partner for UNDP/GEF’s $13.1M Global Solar Water Heater Program, achieving 1.12 million m² market penetration and 3, 570 MWh electricity savings.
• Expanded ICA’s business in Egypt by collaborating with the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy (MoEE) and helped develop the ‘Minimum Efficiency Performance Standards’ (MEPs) for Distribution Transformers, which saved around 2, 000 MWh of electricity and 1.1 million tons of carbon emission annually.
• Contributed to the World Bank’s USD 1.65MN ‘Slum Electrification & Loss Reduction’ project as a technical partner and provided energy efficient safe wiring to 26, 250 homes in Mumbai slums.
