Preparing KPIs as per service level agreement.
• Updating service level agreement & utilities management program.
• Preparing & updating risk assessment for all critical works.
• Preparing purchase request with supporting documents like RFP, specifications, Scope of works, proposed design drawings & approximate estimated cost.
• Evaluation of tender documents technically & commercially.
• Preparing & updating the PPM chart for all electrical equipments included but not limited to ATS panels, Synchronization panel, SMDB, DB, MCC panels, diesel generators, UPS, IPS, lighting & etc.
• ATS & Synchronization panels and Generator monthly operational test to ensure good working condition.
• Supervising a team of 12 members (supervisor, foremen & technicians).
• Load bank testing of diesel generators to meet HTM & NFPA standards.
• Schedule and undertake periodic maintenance on all electrical equipment, components, and installations.
• Provide prompt response to inquiries whenever there is a breakdown and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
• Ensure that equipments are in good working order so, as to prevent disruption of activities.
• Installation of fresh electrical components and fittings, whenever its required.
• Recommend replacement for old or faulty or obsolete electrical equipments or components or fittings to the management.
• Assist in forecasting requirements, creating a budget, and scheduling approximate expenses for the electrical department.
• Keep record of all stock and supplies, including company’s electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot panels (LV, Sync, MCC, SMDB & DB) & machine breakdowns.
• Learn new skills and attend training programs in other to increase knowledge of trends and best practices in hospital.
• Provide safe working environment for members of staff and ensure electricity induced accidents and mishaps are prevented.
• Support the company in increasing profitability by managing resources efficiently and making necessary recommendations.
• Supervise electrical works when new projects are undertaken.
• Design & troubleshoot the circuits for LV panels, MCC panel, Sync panel, BMS panels & etc.
• Participating as authorized engineer in FAT includes visual inspection, busbar tightening with torque wrench, IR test, HV/HIPOT test, CT test (primary & secondary injection test) & operational test.
• Participating as authorized engineer in SAT.
• Projects involved-
1. SIC of Synchronization panel in two different areas
2. ATS panel with Schneider PME Software
3. SMDB replacement
4. Movicon SCADA to control & monitor all major parameters of LV & Sync panels from control room & through web client
5. SIC of 1675KVA Cummins Diesel Generator
• Maintenance works during shutdown of power plant.
• Maintenance works for substation.
• Testing & Commissioning of BMS panels.
• Solar panel installations for home.
Preparing Estimation, design & shop drawings of BMS.
• Preparing Schedule & directions for technical team to work related Piping, cable pulling, device fixing, DGP/DDC panel installation & terminations for BMS system as per approved design.
• Testing & Commissioning of DGP/DDC panels.
• Preparing RFIs.
• Coordinating with site engineer from contractor.
• Prepare & Submit documents to claim payment as per contact agreement.
• Maintenance of HVAC equipments and BMS System.
• Preparing Daily & Monthly reports for all equipments.
• Preparing preventive maintenance schedule for all equipments.
• Directions to technical staff at site.
• Frequently checking of Chillers like oil level, Freon, pressure switch & temperature meter etc.
• Frequently checking of Chiller pumps like pressure level etc.
• Frequently checking of AHUs like filter, fan belts & dampers etc.
• Solving problems in VAV (variable air volume) with damper actuator and electric heater.
• Maintenance of thermostat to control VAV.
• Thermostat installation, testing & commissioning.
Load calculation for MCC & Data Gathering Panel (DGP) panels.
• Cable size calculation as per load and distance.
• Design and modifications of data gathering Panel for controlling and monitoring of HVAC equipments Like Chillers, Ahu's, FCUs, Fans etc.
• Design and modifications of MCC Panel for controlling and monitoring of HVAC equipments Like Chiller pumps, Ahu's, FCUs, Fans etc.
• Piping, cable pulling as per BMS design drawings.
• Device fixing and panel installation.
• Terminations, testing & commissioning of MCC, DGP panels & devices related to HVAC & BMS.
• Preparing of Estimation, design & shop drawings for complete BMS.
• Designing of HVAC strategies by using MS Visio for Honeywell Alerton system.
• Software & Graphics Design for HVAC system by using Honeywell Alerton.
• Preparation of check list.
• Preparation of Handover reports and Commissioning reports
• Interfacing of networks using BACnet LAN, Ethernet and Lon
• Training of operator personnel.
• QA/QC Electrical Inspection
• Site works like piping, cable pulling, device installation, panel fixing, terminations and testing commissioning
• Partially involved in Generator and Transformers testing and commissioning
• Preparation of documents for inspection and reports.
• Partially involved in 11MW Powerhouse erection.
• Preparing of ITP & RFIs.
Responsibilities:
• Maintenance works during planned/corrective shutdown.
• Supervising Operation & maintenance of control panels, Generator, Transformer, Synchronizing, AVR and panels.
• Plant energizing and de-energizing operations.
• Daily generation report of plant, calculation of fuel consumption and taking readings.
• Monitoring & operating the diesel generators.
• Maintenance of electrical equipments like Turbo-Alternator, Transformer, ESP (Electrostatic Perpetrators) and Circuit Breakers.
• Preparing the Machine shop request.
• Checking switch gears, relays, contactors and other electrical meters.
• Having involved in erection of control panels.
• Monitor execution of work at the sites, involved in various site activities and in the installation of Power Distribution of Lighting Systems.
• Perform and supervise the testing of all electrical devices grounding systems, cable Insulation test.
• Monitoring control panel wiring, Termination, cable routing & cable tray installation.
• Supervise & carry out effective implementation of work schedule to clear punch list.
• Responsible to prepare, maintain and monitor the work schedule, responsible for achieving the progress in accordance with the targeted schedule.
• Perform energy audit and recommend alternative sources of energy.
• Help the organization to reduce energy costs.
