Significant Accomplishments:
◼ Infrastructure setup on Business units which include dedicated Internet lines and Firewall configuration with site
to site VPN
◼ Initiated the successful implementation of IT Hub in Etisalat (Data Centre) with VMware (Virtual Servers) and
EMC (Storage) technology to cater services to Business Units across Dubai and Sharjah.
◼ Setup Active Directory, File Server, and exchange server with periodic onsite and offsite backups.
◼ Implemented a Clinic Management System on a Central Server with access to 6 Clinics in Dubai and Sharjah
◼ Evaluated, designed and implementation of Cortex (Pharmacy Application) in all the pharmacies
◼ Automated manual, time-consuming processes to drive gains in data tracking/accuracy, workgroup
efficiency, and profitability.
Managed IT Infrastructure of Dubai and regional offices in GCC and India and the segregation of Networks for all
locations as per the Legal/Compliance requirements
◼ Responsible for delivery of Infrastructure, End-user support, Enterprise mobility solution (Blackberry), Financial
Application (Microsoft Great Plains), Intranet Hub & CRM.
◼ Managed internal IT teams and outsourced vendors for IT activities, audits and reporting within Dubai and across
various locations.
◼ Maintained and managed IT documents, preparing policies and procedures for IT Security and Internal Audits
including budgeting for all IT requirements.
◼ Managed DR which is hosted in Cloud as a Managed Service through Equinix Data Centre.

Accomplishments:
◼ Implemented IT Hub in Dubai with VMware and NetApp technology to cater services to remote offices.
◼ Upgraded Infrastructure for IT Hub with the latest ESX Version (5.5) and implemented/upgraded NetApp.
◼ Upgraded Exchange to 2010 and Blackberry to 5.5 for all the 6 entities. Also implemented Blackberry 10 for
senior management in Dubai.
◼ Implemented DR site which was hosted in Abu Dhabi and connected to DIFC through MPLS, SRM was used to do
the replication and Silver Peak was implemented to optimize the replication traffic for DR.(Year 2012)
◼ Implemented remote offices in Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi, and India.
◼ Implemented DR as a service in Cloud through Equinix Data Centre and Zerto is being used for replication of
Virtual Machines. (Year 2014)
◼ Implemented Asset Management Company (Alpen Asset Advisors Limited) in DIFC.
Accomplishments
◼ Implemented Rasmala Brokerage division in Emirates Tower with connectivity to DFM and ADSM.
◼ Implemented ISA server for all outgoing traffic with policies of specific sites and time-bound access.
◼ Installed and configured Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) for Dubai users.
