Technobiz is a rapid growing engineering firm established in 2004 and a Business Representative of “Emerson Process Management” for its products i.e. Fisher control valves, Regulators, Electro-Pneumatic Positioner & Controller, Flow computer, SCADA & RTUs and Switches in Pakistan.
Key Responsibilities:
• Installation & Commissioning services, Selection & Sizing of Control valve w.r.t process applications and Technical support for Process instrumentation industries.
• Reviewing the inquiry documents/Tenders and organizes bid strategy steps.
• Reporting to the Technical Manager, with focus on attaining contracts for the supply and installation of Control valves, Regulators, Electro-Pneumatic Instruments & Flow meters.
• Identifying and evaluating contractual requirements of customers, initiating the bidding process, receiving approvals from relevant stakeholders, and proceeding with bid submission.
• Liaising with EMERSON Singapore regional office to gain more information & discount to meet competition
• Monitoring the results & expanding business opportunities to achieve the annual target.
• I have done Professional Training from EMERSON Process Management at Singapore and Malaysia for Remote Automation Solutions (RAS), Pipeline Management System (PMS), Metering Skids, Flow Computers, SCADA, DELTA-V DCS, Rosemount Transmitters, Analytical Instruments and Control valves.
Commissioning of plant and implementation of Cause & Effects for Emergency Shutdown, Fire and Gas Logics at DCS for field process Instrumentation.
Installation of DCS (Yokogawa CS-3000), I/O cards termination with marshalling panel and interconnection with Motor Control Center (MCC).
Installation of Instrumentation i.e. Transmitters, Indicators, Switches, Controllers of (Pressure, Temperature, Flow & Level), Pressure Safety Valves, Control valves, Shutdown valves, Blowdown valves, Junction Boxes, ESD System, Gas Compressors, Fire and Gas system (i.e. H2S, Heat, GPD and Flame detectors) and Rosemount Radar Tank Gauging.
Calibration of Instruments using master calibrators i.e. Dead weight tester, Hydraulic pressure calibrator, Temperature bath, Hart communicator 375, PSV bench calibration.
Laying & termination of instrument cables, Megger, Hot and cold loop testing.
Review drawings, markup corrections for generating As-Built documentation.
Preparation of calibration and proof test procedures for Safety instrumented system (SIS) of Saudi International Petrochemical Company for its chemical plants, i.e. Methanol, Butane, CO, Vinyl acetate and Acetic acid plants.
Ensuring all site activities are conducted under controlled conditions as per drawings, work plan and Monitoring the progress to detect deviation and delay in work to take proper action to catch up the targets.
Sound knowledge of process control, hazardous area classifications and HSE procedures.
Preparation of Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Detail Engineering.
Preparation of documents i.e. Project scope of work, review of P&ID, Instrument list, I/O list, Datasheets and specification for various instruments i.e. Control valves, Safety valves, Indicators & Transmitters of (Pressure, Level, flow & Temperature), Orifice plates, Switches, Instrument cables, Cable glands and Junction boxes etc.
Preparation of Cable schedule, Cable tray layout, Termination drawings, Hook-up drawings, Loop drawings, Fire and Gas Lay-out, Tender documentation, RFQ, BOQ, & MTO.
Review tender documents/ RFQ, technical evaluation of bids and post bid clarification.
Familiar with various standards such as ANSI, ASTM, ASME, NFPA, NEMA, IP and ATEX
Review and Installation of instruments according to P&ID, datasheets & hook up drawings;
cable laying, glanding and terminations according to cable schedule, layouts and JB
termination drawings.
Wellhead instrumentation i.e. Control valves, Pneumatic controllers, Pressure, Temperature,
Flow switches and panel etc.
Worked on EMERSON (RTG) Radar tank gauging; its installation, troubleshooting,
maintenance and Lab calibration of Instruments i.e. Pressure gauge, temperature gauge &
pressure transmitter with master calibrators.
Position holder in class. Power Electronics, Automation & Control
