• Reviewed and approved contractor mechanical submittals, including materials, shop drawings, and technical
documentation, ensuring compliance with project specifications and international standards.
• Supervised and inspected Testing & Commissioning (T&C) activities for HVAC, Chilled Water, Plumbing, Drainage,
Firefighting, and Irrigation systems, ensuring system performance and operational compliance.
• Evaluated and provided technical comments on T&C procedures, method statements, and commissioning plans prior
to approval.

• Inspect and perform appropriate tests in accordance with applicable standards and regulations to evaluate the
efficiency of existing mechanical equipment and systems.
• Prepare a detailed status report with recommendations for upgrading or replacing outdated or damaged
components while ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The scope includes HVAC,
firefighting, plumbing, drainage, and irrigation systems.

Duties/
• Assisted the Resident Engineer in coordinating contractor queries, technical reviews, and site-related matters.
• Conducted site inspections for works, materials, and witness points in compliance with approved submittals,
method statements, and project standards.
• Reviewed shop drawings, material submittals, technical calculations, and method statements in line with project
specifications.
• Evaluated and provided recommendations on method statements and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) as per
contractual requirements.
• Monitored site progress, prepared daily reports, and issued Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for deviations
from QA/QC procedures and specifications.
• Ensured compliance with QA/QC standards, health & safety regulations, and project quality requirements at all
stages.

• Implementation of mechanical service drawing
• Installation of Mechanical building service to the contract specifications and drawings. Shop drawing
submittal and approval of ducting and chilled water piping drawing
• Erection of chilled water piping like supply and return with rubber insulation and cladding as per consultant.
Testing and commissioning of all ducts and chilled water pipes and pumps
• Submittal and approval of material and equipment as per specification. Monitoring site store, assuring shade
storage and handling of site materials. Coordinating with suppliers for material requirements as per delivery
schedule
• Installation of the chiller, FAHU, AHU, FCU, and chilled water pumps as per the installation details and as
per site condition
• Monitoring the mechanical scope of works for conformance with the provisions of the contract document and
the procedures manual. Coordinating and supervising the work of all mechanical activities and operation
• Assisting with the inspection of completed works and monitoring the start-up testing, commissioning and
handover of the mechanical works
• Signing off on completed Mechanical works with completed documentation. Perform all other duties given
by Project Director & Senior Engineer.
