- Maintain all electrical engineering plants, installations and equipment.
- Operate electrical engineering plant, installation and equipment.
- Supervise Repair works.
- Supervise the works of contractor.
- Schedule preventive maintenance works.
- Initiate the engagement of electrical engineering service/repair contractors.
- Initiate orders and spares as required.
- Facilitate the implementation of ISO9001:2000 or any other accreditation program.
- Assist in training to hospital staff on electrical safety.
- Train the technician, artisan and handyman of the maintenance and operations of electrical plant and equipment.
- Facilitate the implementation of Health, Safety and Environment procedure.
- Resolve technical problem.
- Maintain and update asset register if electrical engineering plant and equipment.
- Maintain and update all electrical drawing, specifications and manual.
- Ensure all relevant laws, statues and regulations are complied with.
- Carry out responsibilities as directed.
