Assist the IBM Project management team and client on resource utilization, analysis and reporting.
• Perform tasks directed by Project Management Team, on time and ensure Time Frame of delivery is communicated well in advance.
• Reviewing overall project performance and leading projects status review meetings along with facilitating change implementation team, by obtaining necessary change approvals through change management process.
• Accepts ownership and is responsible for the progression of the E2E lifecycle of the Change
• Confirms change window with client
• Coordinates adjustments to the change record as required after consultation with all stakeholders
• Obtains all Peer Review & Team Leader signoff artefacts for the WIT of the change record
• Obtains all change approvals in a timely manner
• Verifies details in the change record throughout its progression
• Identifies Tasks and assigns Task Implementers
• Ensures implementation plan and backout strategies have been developed and agreed to
• Communicates effectively with all change stakeholders as required
• Initiates Status & Decision Point meetings as planned or required
• May have to, as a result of an unplanned/deviation from the Approved Implementation Plan postpone, cancel or backout the change if necessary
• Identifies if failed or rejected changes require correction, cancellation and/or resubmission
• Ensures IBM is represented at required Change Review Meetings e.g.CABs or ERBs
• Activates Incident and/or Problem Management processes when necessary
• Tools used:Ms office, Infrastructure Technology Asset management (iTAM)
Work on troubleshooting on Internet Connectivity issues, modems and operating systems.
Troubleshooting advanced connectivity issues to consumer DSL lines in America. Used tools like Siebel, Remedy and Oracle CRM.
Clients include Bellsouth, which is counted among the best ISPs in America for dial up and broadband Internet access.
Assisting users in setting up their connection with a wide variety of routers.
Have good working experience in setting up Linksys, Net gear, D-Link and Bel kin Wireless routers and the Airport on Mac computers.
