Act as a focal point to assist Work Packages Senior resident engineers /Project Director to oversee all the interface issues between work packages associated with Design, engineering, construction, installation and commissioning activities and the airport master system integrator -MC6.
Ensuring all interfaces between Project EPC Contractors, other associated functional teams and companies.
Develop and maintain the overall Project Interface Plan covering all identified and potential
interfaces relevant to airport system integrator (MC6) and all other work packages.
Chairing all the interface meetings between the airport system integrator (MC6) and all other work packages.
The review of all interface agreements and related contractor produced engineering documents and relate any differences or site approved changes to the project interface
Director and corresponding work packages senior resident engineer.
Ensuring Contractor’s compliance with all interface related technical requirements during detailed design, integration, pre-commissioning and installation.
To monitor and ensure the consistency of the design, engineering, construction, installation
interfaces (including schedule and planning) between construction work packages.
Provide technical assistance and advice to Work Package Team Leaders and/Project Managers in
the interfacing, scope and schedule.
Identify and report any potential scope changes which may arise from interface issues.
Working closely with Contractors, Engineers, and Operations to ensure all interface queries/issues are satisfied and closed.
Attending weekly client lead critical issues meetings along with CE interface Director/construction director, PMC & contractor’s representatives.
Liaising with the contractors in order to monitor progress with specific interface issues.
Liaise with airport master systems integrator in regards training schedules.
Assist in the management of internal interfaces with and for the project.
Close cooperation with the planning team regarding interface associated milestone.
Reviewing O/M & training manuals of airport master systems integrator against contract requirements and approved template.
Provides technical and operational leadership for the following systems under MC3 contract: Land side traffic managements system, taxi management system, Parking Payment system, Parking Guidance system (LTMS, TXMS, PPS, PGS) and Airside Landside integrated vehicle control system.

Leading and manage the ELV team at site and building the desired organization chart.
Defining the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
Estimates the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
Determine and assess need for additional staff and make the appropriate recruitment in necessary during the project cycle..
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate person.
Track project milestones and deliverables.
Provide technical support for engineers, construction managers, QA/QC engineers.
Ensure the technical compliance of all the installation.
Liaise with the main contractor & consultant site management team.
Liaise with the MEP construction managers for the site requirements/priorities.
Liaising with planning Dep’t.
Identify and manage the technical issues faced on the site with the design team and seek agreement with the necessary parties.
Coordinate the correct manpower in line with CPM.
Coordinate the work to be subcontracted, procured, planning and control them with the CPM
Monitor and ensure the production of material take-offs, indent’s and MRF’s.
Monitor the work space to ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with LEED.
Liaise with logistics to ensure that materials are delivered in line with the CPM.
Provide advice to QA/QC teams relating to the installation compliance.

Supervise and direct a team of engineers, designers and support personal.
Review all material submittals in light of contracts specification.
Participate in all the technical, coordination meetings with consultant & project’s contractors.
Prepare method statements and procedures. Competent in reading and understanding specifications, drawings, and all other discipline related project and engineering documentation.
Preparation of look-ahead plans for the electrical works of the project, in close liaison with construction, planning and other departments and disciplines.
Reviews quantities of materials received or used during specified periods, in order to minimize wastage and inefficiency.
Monitoring and updating the site progress on weekly basis, producing the high quality workmanship to the satisfaction of both client and consultants. Timely completion of the jobs.
Review all material submittals in light of contracts specification.
Material planning, Negotiations, Co-ordination with Architects, Consultants, Interior designer, Clients, Site supervision, Testing & Commissioning.
Preparing of variation claims if any correspondence with consultant/client on all technical and contractual issues.
Analyze complex engineering problems and offer effective resolutions.
Professional and technical utilization of labor and material.
Supervising all electrical systems installation and testing at field.
Prepare and manage MEP deficiencies list which is necessary to get the consultant approval to start with critical Project activities (false ceiling clearance, Marble Cladding, raised floors ....).
Participate in weekly coordination meeting with all project’s contractors.
Prepare proposals and RFIs to get the approval from the consultant engineer to proceed with work.
Reviewing the shop drawing and material submittal.
leading site inspection for the installation/material.
