Key Responsibilities:-
* Plan & Manage New Store Opening readiness - design, construction, display functionality, all facilities including Space planning, Planogram, Merchandising and digital contents managements
* Prepare a project execution plan in consultation with Business, Design and the Developers in order to accomplish its objectives within constraints of time, quality and agreed costs.
* Tendering & Vendor Management: Develop and implement schedules for bidding and contract management. Solicit new vendors as needed and keep operating bench strength of vendors to meet team goals
*Develop project strategic program detailing key milestones including concept and detail design delivery, procurement of direct supply items, contractor’s scope of work extending to construction period.
*Ensure the implementation of progress monitoring concerning the construction activities and compare to plan duration/results. Prepare and Circulate Report executive status.
*Review, report and manage risks through-out the project life cycle. Works on problems of diverse scope where analyzing data requires evaluating identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
*Conduct quality checks to ensure that the materials meet all client specifications, coordinate with all concerned to ensure adherence to quality, health and safety regulations.
*Strong understanding on the entire life-cycle on projects design management, construction management, project Control, contractual and commercial matters.
* Work with category management to align channel promotional and seasonal programs. Manage tactical assortment decisions throughout the product and sales lifecycle
*Ensure adherence to agreed Time-line of the project while keeping a track of important milestone (to be achieved in given TAT).
# Managing Retail Roll-out of premium account Samsung (IM) Exclusive Stores in North Region
# Control project from start to finish to ensure high quality (QC approved), Timely Delivery & Execution maintaining Samsung Design/ Quality standards (FCR approved).
# Detailed Verification of BOQ’s/estimates/ specifications for actual production by Fixture/GSB vendor.
#Plan & support QC/FCR team to conduct quality checks to ensure that the materials meet all client specifications, coordinate with all concerned to ensure adherence to quality, health and safety regulations.
# Ensuring that the Services are synchronized to the progress of Works of the Project and performed in accordance with Good Industry Practice.
# Attending/ initiating coordination meetings with the Client, Contractor, Consultants and other stake holders.
# Review, report and manage risks through-out the project life cycle & highlight challenges to HO team as well as provide feedback to resolve it in best possible way.
# Maintain & Circulate tracker for Ongoing / Upcoming projects mentioning stages (production/dispatch/ installation/ completion) which can be filtered monthly basis.
# Manage various portals BQMS / Space n Log / SIP etc to check & manage PO / production/ delivery & installation of fixtures at site & support billing at various stages.
# Mentoring, managing, and drive Site teams (Civil + MEP) & coordinate with consultant teams to constantly achieve superlative results.
# Liaising with local authorities as required to ensure that the works are authorised as the project progresses ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
#Taking initiative in problem-solving & Motivate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account.
# Manage in-house projects including Retail Stores // Office Space // Warehouse // Service Center as per Organisation requirement.
# Manage the effective achievement of objectives through setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal in order to maximize subordinate and the overall performance.
# Prepare and recommend the budget for the respective Department and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
# Motivate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account „international leading practice‟, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
# Jumbo Retail Stores : MOE/DCC/Al Wahda // Exhibitions : GITEX (Oct, 15 & Apr, 16) // Service Center : Sharjah/Rashidiya/JH // Warehouse Project : Rashidiya & Jebel Ali // Office : Head office-karama /Camry Office- Jafza.
# Managing the design and building stages of Retail/Hospitality Projects & Office area for Company.
# Involved in managing large scale projects i.e. Oasis Center Mall, City Max Hotel & LMG corporate Office.
#Experience in handling various Specialized Projects like Fitness Center, iCare Clinic, Training Center, SPA & Wellness Center.
# Prepare a project execution plan in consultation with Business, Design and the Developers in order to accomplish its objectives within constraints of time, quality and agreed costs.
# Develop project strategic program detailing key milestones including concept and detail design delivery, procurement of direct supply items, contractor’s scope of work extending to construction period and handover date to the Client.
# Co-ordinate with various consultants to ensure approvals from Statutory Authorities : DM, CD, DEWA, DHA.
# Co-ordinate with team of consultants & contractors/sub-contractors of project (mall/hotel/office area) to ensure smooth work progress.
# Monitoring progress of the work to ensure timely execution of work in accordance with the project schedule .
# Conduct quality checks to ensure that the materials meet all client specifications, coordinate with all concerned to ensure adherence to quality, health and safety regulations.
# Prepare and update the store tracking report on a weekly basis to reflect the progress of store delivery and roll out and flag any issues to all concerned and initiate remedial action to ensure execution of project as scheduled.
# Coordinate with QS to produce the CAPEX for all new projects, in a timely manner and submit to Business for review and approval.
# Guide and motivate subordinates to enhance performance and produce quality work, and ensure that they are continuously developed for higher level roles.
Fully involved in Designing & Detailing of Retail Store through out the country.
*Involved in execution and Management of Retail outlets, Office Interior projects, Exhibitions.
*Laison with Developers & Mall authorities for timely possession & fit out period.
*Responsible for everything related to Projects from space planning, Visual Merchandising, POP's & light fittings.
*Making a project track board for Overall supervision, controlling & review of construction activities.
* Provide regular co-ordination with architects, consultants, contractors & different venders.
*Certify the costing of the entire projects & try to keep per sft cost minimum without compromising with standard specifications.
