Responsible for project management and providing sales support for key regional projects topics such as pricing, sales forecasting, account management planning, among others. Key lead in managing and coordinating strategic sales projects and interfaces with multiple stakeholders in the company from HQ.
Further, played a key role in creating processes and structures to bring sales discipline among the sales managers - ensuring “one voice” among the team - helping top management in bringing unison in sales approach among heterogenous markets
Modifying and orchestrating product roll-outs to meet the requirements of the regional markets. Further, has worked on creating region-oriented segment sales tools to support sales teams facilitate, improve and enhance sales with new and existing customers.
Responsible for ensuring reliable reporting, synthesis and interpretation of sales data to plan and ensure accuracy in delivery against plan. Lead sales forecasting, planning and budgeting process for the region

WORK OUTLINE:
•Coordinate tracking and reporting as well as help in executing strategic projects for the key markets
•Assist sales teams in finding new business development (NBD) opportunities in segments, sectors and markets
•Create structure and track closely the new business development opportunities; further help the teams in bringing discipline to the new business development process
•Create regional sales tools which are both cost and time-effective, to help the sales team drive sales with new as well as existing customers
•Provide regional level input to HQ to align product portfolio, pricing decisions, route to market and trade marketing strategies across the region - helping modify global strategy to fit regional needs
•Ensure reliable reporting, synthesis and interpretation of sales data
•Leads sales budgeting and business forecasts process
•Independently develop recommendations based on analysis for planning data and presents and recommend planning strategies to regional leadership
•Act as an interface between the sales teams (MDs and their sales managers) and HQ
•Conflict resolution for market disturbance cases - parallel import, etc.
•Responsible for price getting for the markets and ensuring the correct pricing strategy is followed in line with the company guidelines
•Responsible for ensuring coordination of all functions across Asia South for best practice sharing
•Interface to HQ to deliver regional knowledge/information as and when requested
•Coordinate product management requests of markets keeping in mind impact on other markets or regions

KEY CONTRIBUTIONS:
•Successfully created and managed global account management part of the business for the region - leading to new business development opportunity growth in the region
•Regularly visiting customers in Middle East, India, SEA and TH/VN to understand key business needs and issues and finding strategic solutions for quick turnaround
•Finding mutually agreeable solutions (building hypothesis, research and analysis) for conflict resolution (cases like market infiltration, pricing, branding)
•Successfully lead the implementation of new branding in our markets - explaining advantages as well as anticipating possible problems in implementation from customer side, finding
•Created clear and effective presentations for the VPO to be presented to the CEO and Executive VP sales
•Provided support in analysis of data, and present real, unbiased market situation to the VPO
•Focused on strong planning and organizing, with no delays in any output expected
•Has always focused on prioritizing topics and giving the needed time without procrastinating
