Manage regional implementation and deployment of global initiatives for MEA region in addition to being responsible
for any regional or country specific initiatives in area of Talent, Leadership & Organizational Development
April 07/June 08 Responsible for Egypt, Levant and Iran sub-region
Responsible for eight countries of approx 1000 employees, covering: Egypt, Sudan, Libya, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan,
Iraq and Iran. Leading a team consisting of 5 Country HR Managers.
July 08/June 10 Responsible for Gulf & Pakistan sub-region
Responsible for Gulf and Pakistan region consisting of eight countries of approx. 1500 employees, including: UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Yemen, Bahrain, Pakistan and Afghanistan. Leading a team of 8 Country HR Managers and HR business consultants.
Areas of Responsibilities
- Manage the full scope of HR service and ensures the efficiency and quality of HR service at region level.
- Ensure that HR processes fulfill the requirements of local labor agreements and labor law.
- Understand the business situation and translate business targets into HR action.
- Set and review strategically appropriate targets for the HR region organization.
- Responsible for resourcing and people management at region level.
- Responsible for efficient development of HR competencies in the region, HR resource and cost planning.
- Contribute to the MEA HR Management team.
- Ensure that the local business needs are taken into account in global planning.
- Coach and consult management teams, individual managers on HR value chain.

Handling HR related issues of 150 employees including: Personnel administration and services, Medical Services, Compensation and benefits, Recruitment and selection, Expatriate care, employees relation and organization development.
Responsible for Personnel and Administration
Responsible for the setup and development of ISO 9002 system. Member of the management committee.
