Local Pipe manufacturing suppliers adviser for “GRAN GASODUCTO DEL SUR” PROJECT (Brazil/Venezuela)
for East Falcon Oil and Gas Project. Among activities involved were: Buying material & equipment from local as well as foreign supplier (.U.S.A.). Coordinate logistics from U.S. manufacturer to forwarder, and all the way to Venezuela. Custom House clearings. Transportation to project site. Also, follow up on payment to all suppliers involved. At Project site, verify that all material & equipment came with no damage or incomplete. Verify that all material & equipment came with its Quality certificate.
Annual Requirements Planning, Inventory control, buying, and expediting of equipments and spare parts for PDVSA Gas at Almacen Central La Quizanda. in the maintenance of systems and distribution of Gas. Successful establishment of supply agreements for the acquisition of strategic equipment and parts use in the Gas operation. Adoption by Bariven, S.A. of international standard ISO 9000/2000 for the process of buying and Inventory control. Bariven, S.A. was certified by FONDONORMA in October 2002. Increase participation of local manufacturer in the fabrication of foreign equipment and parts use in the oil industry. Selling of obsolete equipment and parts to third parties. Most of this material has no future use in Refinería El Palito, Servífértil, PDVSA GAS, Deltaven and Distribución Venezuela.
