Working under the Marketing & Business Development Departments; reporting to the Marketing Manager and the Business Development Manager. Handling the marketing and communications tasks; which are basically related to digital marketing, in addition to, the basics in marketing (offline).
1. Content management and briefing: for the designs of our marketing materials; these are for the printed newspaper, the banners on the website, social media announcements and layout, the corporation profiles online(website, Wikipedia, …etc) and offline (our media kit)
2. Google Analytics and Ad Planner: responsible for the analytics for the English Edition of the newspaper (www.egyptindependent.com).
3. Sponsorship: Working on barter deals from the digital marketing perspective; handling the marketing tools and materials for any sponsored event with the marketing team. Examples of some of the sponsorships and barter deals I was responsible for (ArabNet Cairo, Egypt Reads “Masr Takra2” with Alef Bookstore, many projects with Ain Shams, Cairo, & AUC universities, our booth in Dandy mall, Reporting A Revolution movie with Al-Masry Al-Youm…etc).
4. Marketing Campaigns: The launch of the Printed version of the English Edition. Planned the marketing and distribution plan for the issue with the marketing team (online and offline).
5. Social Media: An admin on Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin; responsible for 7 main pages for Al-Masry Corporation. The main news pages, responsible for the commercial announcement, events, barter deals…etc. The mobile services page, daily breaking news sms, mobile apps, poll services…etc.
6. Mobile Applications: Working with the team on the ODP to monitor our mobile application’s content, design…etc.
7. E-Newsletter: Digital and Printed Newsletter.

Working with the team on developing new processes for the organization, communicating with the external suppliers both inside and outside Egypt. Developing Marketing Research about the current demand and supply for the veneer market. Developing research about the veneer products types, and the process of veneer manufacturing; both natural and not.

Handling the marketing and communications for Swift Group and its twelve operating business units.

1.Branding: Brochures, flyers, logos, corporate stationary and websites; ex: Group’s trucks branding (Middle East Trucking Networks).

2.Market positioning: market research and market surveys; ex: for the company’s warehouse facility in 10th of Ramadan City.

3.Content Management: for the Group’s website (www.swift-egypt.com), internal portal (iSwift), & Group’s Presentations.

4.Internal Communications: Group’s newsletter (Swift Times and Speeds), Internal Portal, minutes of the Business Development Team weekly meeting, Developed the internal manual for the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software and the Group’s library (buying books, and using a customized software for Swift Group library online)

5.External Communications: Attending Meetings and Conferences and reporting them to the CEO (Ex.: MENA-OECD ministerial investment meeting, Business Opportunities in the MENA region, and Business Opportunities in PortSaid East Port), and dealing with outside suppliers for the logos, websites, business magazines, newspapers, the Group’s stationary, the driver’s uniform, and the translators.
6. Business Development Projects: working with the team on new projects; developing business plans and working on my own tasks related to marketing and communications, in addition to the marketing and communications tasks in the Group’s strategy deployment team.
