Role Purpose :
AT the most basic level I ensure that the correct merchandise is in a store at the correct time with the correct quantities to satisfy the customer . Which lead to achievement of retail sales and gross margin goals.
Functions and responsibilities :
•in charge of all product information that goes to the store and any and all communication to the store about my product .
•analyzing consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends;
• regularly reviewing performance indicators, such as sales and stock turn;
• managing plans for stock levels;
• reacting to changes in demand and logistics;
• meeting suppliers and negotiating terms of contract;
• maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products;
• liaising with other departments within the organization to ensure projects are completed;
• attending trade fairs to select and assemble a new collection of products;

• writing reports and forecasting sales levels;
• presenting new ranges to senior retail managers;

Role Purpose :
To plan and trade product in area of responsibility by developing effective merchandise and range plans, managing performance in season and by effective management of supply chain in order to drive profit in line with agreed financial parameters and the category strategy .
Functions and responsibilities:
• Prepare seasonal range plan by grade pre & post buying process.
• Analyze trading KPIs against targets and provide weekly updates to Brands & Communication Manager.
• Attend weekly stock/sales trade reviews and do the action plans required with Brands & Communication Manager.
• Analyze every aspect of bestsellers (bestselling price points, colors or styles) and ensuring that bestsellers reach their full potential.
• Monitor slow sellers and taking action to reduce prices, set promotions or stock relocation as necessary.
• Work closely with Shops Managers to provide them a support on stock replenishment and display.
• Review stock place, reorder when required.
• Propose promotions and markdown in accordance with Brands & Communication Manager.
• Prepare monthly reports to suppliers about brands recommending actions.
• Oversee the pricing of all goods for handled brands.
• Oversee the buying file creation process each season.
• Do weekly store visits and come up with status reports and recommendations.
• Outline products transfers between shops and extensions down the chain.
Responsibilities
• Analyze how our brand is positioned in the market and crystallise targeted consumers insights
• Take brand ownership and provide the vision, mission, goals and strategies to match up to
• Translate brand strategies into brand plans, brand positioning and go-to-market strategies
• Lead creative development and create motivating stimulus to get targeted population to “take action”
• Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates
• Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
• Coach the team and get the best from everyone
• Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues
