Overseeing the daily activities of team members to maintain environmental management system
(EMS).
•Preparation of Environmental Plans and Procedures.
•Ensuring compliance with NCEC and GAMEP regulations.
•Monitoring all facilities/ sites/ projects operations to ensure compliance with the CEMP.
•Examination and endorse improvements to existing environmental programs to reduce environmental
damages.
•Implementing CEMP and providing guidance on local GAMEP/RC/ARAMCO Environmental
regulations.
•Continuous Ambient Air Quality Monitoring (NOx, SOx, CO, PM10 and PM2.5).
•Overseeing the daily activities of project to maintain environmental management system (EMS).
•Implementation of HAZCOM Program and Conducting HAZCOM audit.
•Conducting awareness sessions and Environmental Campaigns.
•Environmental training and arranging Workshops.
•Weekly and Monthly Environmental Reports Submission to Client.
Responsibilities as Environmental Engineer January
Evaluate project Environmental Aspects and their impact liaise with relevant bodies such as local
authorities, public bodies and competent bodies.
•Carry out impact assessments to identify, assess and reduce an organization's environmental risks and
financial costs.
•Promote and raise awareness, at all levels of an organization, of the impact of emerging
environmental issues.
•Implement best practice in areas of corporate, ethical and social responsibility and address any issues
arising.
•Develop and implement environmental management systems to continually improve the impact of the
organization on the environment.
•Coordinate public hearings and consultations on environmental matters.
•Train staff at all levels on environmental issues and responsibilities.
•Negotiate environmental service agreements and manage associated costs and revenues
•Write environmental reports, assuming lead responsibility in the company
Develop (SSEMP)Site specific Environmental Management Plan.
•Write detail reports on environmental compliance accomplishment, and required actions to be taken.
•Assist external instrumental environmental monitoring team and points select for recording the data.
•Weekly Instrumental monitoring of AIR and Noise through, formaldehyde air detector and noise level
meter.
•Develops health and safety procedures and programs for staff and labors and monitors safety
compliance to reduce risks.
Maintains contingency plans, including fire prevention (Fire extinguisher installation), and procedures
for controlling hazardous spills, conduct mock sessions for reducing oil spills hazard.
•Agreements with different Hospitals for medical and hazardous waste incineration and emergency
services provisions
•Develops inspection policies and establishes regular inspection schedules.
•Conduct training sessions for emergency preparedness, electrical safety, fire safety, machine
guarding, fall protection, oil spills risks, sprinkling and curing reduce particulate matters protection,
lubrication of vehicles to reduce noise pollution.
•Maintains EPA records of hazardous waste, air emission permitting, and water pollution discharge,
and records of employee hazard exposure according to OSHA regulations.
•Monitors professional literature and attends seminars/ training sessions to stay current with WHO,
NEQS and Social and environmental safeguard policy of ADB (Asian Development Bank) compliance
requirements.
