Chief Quantity Surveyor (based at the Main Office) from 1999, reporting to the Deputy Project Director. Accountabilities included:
• Co-ordination with project and site teams, contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers to monitor operations and to take decisions on quantity survey matters.
• Review and management of communications and documentation as Main Consultant/Engineer with contractors, municipal authorities, utilities, contractors and other consultants.
• Developing solicitation documents on behalf of clients; managing the tendering process; liaising with clients, bidders and other players; analysing tender submittals and recommending awards.
Until 1999, worked as Quantity Surveyor on infrastructural projects such as:
• Corniche Road (West) Alignment Contract valued at AED145M.
• 3-storey Underground Parking Structure for 500 vehicles, costing AED60M.
• Ramps and Roads for Interchange 18 priced at AED132M.
