Secured and project managed the Concept Design contract for the first manufacturing facility (an Oral Solid Dosage facility) to be built in the Dubai Biotechnology and Research Park (DuBiotech).

Successfully led teams of engineers through all aspects of the engineering design, tendering, procurement and construction support phases on numerous projects involving the engineering design and procurement of production and utility equipment used in bulk manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients.

Sequenced and maintained design and procurement documentation preparation schedules, associated man-hour loading plan, stakeholder communication plan and change management log.

Managed the preparation of Material Requisition packages including datasheets (mechanical, process, instrumentation, documentation and solvent and reagent), Functional Design Specifications and General Specifications for the tender and procurement.

Undertook supplier auditing & selection, technical bid analysis ensuring design code, regulatory and cGMP compliance; contract award negotiation including setting design, manufacture and test milestones; post-contract supplier management to ensure compliance with quality standards and design specifications.

Supporting IQ/OQ programs by ensuring the supply of hand-over documentation meets cGMP and regulatory compliance (US FDA) standards.
