Middle East Regional Director - Lockheed Mission Systems and Training. Originally responsible for the establishment of a Middle East Regional Office in Abu Dhabi to include support outposts in Kuwait city and Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with focus on establishing sustainable 10 year strategic plan. Current deliverables include $400 million existing contract with Saudi Arabian National Guard (SANG) $100 million training contract with Kuwait National Guard. Head of Business Development (Land and Maritime) - Lockheed Martin Simulation Training Support Responsible to the Lockheed Martin STS Vice President of Business Development in Orlando Florida for continued growth and position within the UK and International market. Established and maintained relationships with UK Defense Procurement Agency, Directorate Equipment Capability and industry partners. Committed to the successful acquisition of future customer requirements for C4I training provision and alignment of Land & Maritime Command and Staff product line into Networked Enabled Training Capability (NETC)
Was responsible to the Operations manager for the support of various training and technical solutions into the Metropolitan Police Special Operations Centre at Lambeth. Led the successful introduction and implementation of On-Schedule pilots at School of Electrical Engineering through development/implementation of project plan, marketing strategy/implementation, success criteria and resource/budget/financial management for whole project. Involved in the implementation and commissioning Education Training Management System (ETMS) on major PFI and other Training Management Information Systems (TMIS).
Over 23 years’ service with extensive experience in both operational and training environments. Core function was Commander of Challenger 2 main battle tank troop at Squadron level. Was responsible to the Commanding Officer for the efficient running of a mixed civilian/military organization of over 400 personnel. Managed and administered a wide range of training courses at the UK AFV School at Lulworth, including the allocation of resources, student/instructor welfare and programming. Spent much of his career involved in various operations in the Gulf, Balkans and Northern Ireland with focus toward counter terrorism and intelligence gathering and gained much experience working within a multi-agency emergency planning and crisis management team.
