At Doosan Babcock I have an extremely demanding role as an Outage InstallationElectrician on site within the Turbine, RCA (Radiologically Controlled Area), Boiler and Pump House locations. As well as being responsible for generators (1000 kVA), air compressors, mobile welding machines/generators, 415v/110v transformers, and temporary 110v/415v lighting/power on site, I also attend to any telephone/computer (CAT5) equipment issues and carry out PAT testing on site/office areas.
As a multi-skilled maintenance technician on mechanical transfer presses and associated support equipment, my key responsibilities are for preventative and reactive maintenance activities within a high speed, high pressure production environment.
Main duties include maintenance and repair of high speed production equipment, heavy duty power presses, PLC fault finding (Allen Bradley, Omron, Mitsubishi and Siemens), heavy duty pneumatic and hydraulic and electrical systems.
The primary role is to provide extraordinary customer experience to customers using Sage business management software. I support customers with a large variety of queries, which range from basic payroll processing to troubleshooting complex PC issues or installations. My role also consists of various targets, one of which is sales revenue and as an individual who is driven by goals and targets; I thoroughly enjoy working towards such a target. In the last 12 months I have generated over £55k of revenue from a customer service based role.
Telephone based role providing an extremely high standard of customer service. Services include answering any queries that customer have regarding their credit cards, explaining billing cycles, refunding or explaining late charges and processing payments.
The role involved selling a wide range of electrical products while providing an extremely high standard of customer service both face-to-face as well as over the phone. An integral part of the role included achieving absolute customer satisfaction at all times by working extremely hard for each individual customer, meeting their every need even if they require products out of range.
In this very demanding role, I provided a high standard of specialist, electrical engineering support to all aspects of ground equipment users. This was often under adverse conditions within tight deadlines and budgetary limits, which required great flexibility. Daily tasks included servicing and refuelling large ground based equipment, fault finding and planned preventative maintenance on generators (60Kva), compressors, domestic appliances and vehicles as well is the installing and maintaining temporary installations (415V/110V and 415V/240V).
