A full scholarship, selective interdisciplinary master's program (2% acceptance rate) in China Studies that brings together international and Chinese scholars to focus on the key pillars of China’s engagement with the world. My focuses included Chinese foreign policy, geoeconomics, geopolitics, as well as China and international development. I successfully defended my thesis in May 2022, and the degree was conferred in July. My thesis surveyed academics and elites to determine whether there was a mismatch between China’s development intentions for the Levant and Levantine elites’ expectations of China’s future development engagement in the Levant.
