• Working on a 1:1 base with certain children, helping them with work, and calming them down if they were to have an episode.
• I was working with the occupational therapist to produce interventions for the children who need the most care to succeed and go on to further education.
• Authoring the end-of-day reports, speaking with each child, and analyzing what we as support staff could do better for the next day.
• Doing sensory circuits with certain children in the mornings and when they needed time out.
• Having meetings with psychologists to create plans for the class and teachers so they have a calmer day.
• Creating a safe place for every child and being there whenever they need it.
